                                                                                                       Thomas Flencher was in his bed room. He was asleep.  He shifted a little and then rolled over and fell on the floor.  He immediately stood up and rubbed his eyes,still feeling a little bit groggy. He made his way to the door,turned the knob and pulled...                                          HAPPY BIRTHDAY!                                  Bill and Kate, his two best friends and his family were right before him, his sister holding a big cake which was adorned with thirteen lit candles. 
   Tom blushed.

 ''Thanks ,everyone'', he managed to say as he was short of words.        
 His birthday party commenced at once and there was a lot of merry making.

''Make a wish'', Kate told Tom after the games.

 Thomas shut his eyes and paused for some seconds and PUFF! ;the fire on the candles were blown out.
