Love Is When You Least Expect It

"Happy One year anniversary Marie!" Pascal comes into the bedroom with breakfast and a gift

"Awe Pascal, You too!" I said as I got out of bed and walked to get his gift.

"Open yours first" I tell Pascal. It's a picture frame of each of his kids and him together

"Thank you Marie. I love it! It means a lot" Pascal says before he kisses me

"Now let me open mine" I saw to Pascal

"No, I have to open it for you" Pascal says with a grin on his face

"Why?" I ask very confused

"Marie, this one year that we have been together has been amazing. Even through the ups and downs, I love you more and more everyday. Marie. I don't want to be with anyone else but you. I might not have been with you before in the past, but the moments that we are with eachother are the best, and I will never replace them. Marie, I love you more than I love playing hockey. Marie, Will you marry me?" Pascal says as he gets down on one knee

"Yes!" I said with tears streaming down my face. Pascal picked me up and spun around with me

"I never thought I would be marrying again, but I don't care. I love you Marie" Pascal said with tears in his eyes
