Don't Hate the Player

"Kellin.. kels.. KELLIN WAKE THE HELL UP!" Screamed my roommate, and best friend, Justin Hills.

Groaning, I flipped over hitting him in the face with the pillow next to me. "Leave me alone Justin."

"No then we're gonna be late," I groaned and flipped over to face him. "We have to get up and go to school remember?" He replied. How can I not remember my first day of 10th grade? I just wanted to stay in and sleep and day.

"Fine," I sighed finally getting up. "Give me 20 minutes." After saying what I had to say, I grabbed a towel and walked towards my bathroom that connected to my bedroom. Once in, I looked in the mirror at my reflection, instantly regretting it. I looked like hell itself. Sighing, I slowly started stripping and into the shower I went.

About 10 minutes later, I got out and wrapped the towel around my waist and walked out. Walking over to my closet, I wanted to make a good impression, so I chose black skinny jeans and a gray bring me the horizon shirt with a pear of gray TOMS and my bracelets.
"Dude, hurry up we're leaving in 8 minutes!" Justin yelled from downstairs.

"I'll be down in 5!" I yelled back. I put my shirt over my head and grabbed my pants while running to my bathroom to brush my teeth and fix my hair. I put my pants on and started fixing the mess on my head.

After I was finished getting ready, I ran downstairs to see Justin brought donuts. I grabbed 2 and backpack. "Looking nice, kels." Justin complimented.

I shrugged. "Eh, wanted to make a good impression I guess. I really don't want what happened at my old school to happen here." I went into the kitchen to grab orange juice.

"I'm gonna make sure that doesn't happen, I promise kellin, but you have to tell me everything that goes on Kay?" I nodded and headed for the door to Justin's car and off to school we went.

As we were driving to the school, I started to think. What if this school is not much of a difference as my old one? What if no one likes me? What if I start to get bullied again? What if everyo-

"Kellin I know what you're thinking," Justin exclaimed. "Trust me, you're gonna fit right in and I'll be by your side tell the end." I was really glad to have him as practically my brother. "Thanks Justin." I said with a smile while looking at him for a bit before eating my other donut.

When we pulled up to the school, everyone seemed to be just hanging around. When we got out of Justin's Porsche, his parents are really wealthy, everyone seemed to turn and look at us.
Was it because of Justin's car or was it because we were the new kids? The world may never know.

I hide my face in my bangs and walked behind Justin as everyone moved out of the way for us. We walked into the school and walked to the main office, I'm guessing.

"Hi I'm Justin Hills and this is Kellin quinn and we're here to pick up our schedules." Justin said talking for me.

"Oh you must be the new students! Welcome, welcome!" The lady spoke with such excitement I couldn't help but smile a little.

"Here you are," she said to us. "If you need an help at all please don't hesitate to ask! Everyone's really kind around here." For some reason i doubted that.

"Thank you so much," Justin said with a smile as he slung his hand over my shoulder. "We're gonna get going to look for our classes before the school starts." The lady smiled and nodded.

"Justin, I'm scared." I said finally speaking.

"Don't be kels. I promise I'll help you look for all of your classes and I'll even wait for you when class is over if you'd like." He said as he put his arm down and getting the map the lady have us.

"Thank you Justin." I said barely above a whisper.

"Of course, man. Now, let's go find your class huh." He smiled.

Once we finished looking for both of our classes, the bell rung and everyone suddenly came marching all at once. I started to panic with the amount of people now surrounding me. "Justin.. Justin where are you..?" I whispered to afraid to talk. Tears slowly started to fall as I was pushed to the ground.

I crawled into a corner and sat waiting for the herd of people to pass, tears still falling freely.

"Kels!? Kellin??" I heard Justin yelling. "I'm over here Justin!" I said in my normal voice hoping he would hear me.

His eyes finally locked with mine and he ran over to me. He started hugging me, as I cried in his shoulder.

"Shh kels. It's fine. Everything is fine." I could barely hear him because the 10 minute bell ran signaling we had 10 minutes to get to class. I stopped crying and looked at Justin who then whipped my tears.

"I'll take you to your first class, huh." He told me giving me a half smile

I nodded and sniffed. We walked to my class to see only 4 people were in there so far. I turned to Justin.

"I'll come and pick you up after class ok? Don't leave without me." I nodded listening to everything he said.

He smiled. "See you after class ok? If anything happens text me." I nodded and hugged him for about 5 second before letting go and turned toward my class. I quickly walked to the back of the class hoping no one would notice me when class starts

The 5 minute bell ran causing me to jump out of my skin. My phone buzzed. "Relax, it's just the 5 minute bell. Everyone will be in class soon." Justin said knowing I would get scared. I texted back telling him I'm scared with a sad face

"Don't be, love. Just text me if you need ANYTHING." sometimes I wonder why he was still with me even If I barely talked.

Suddenly everyone comes barging in and I started panicking. One by one everyone chose a sit either in the front or the middle. The teacher soon calmed everyone down and started talking.

"Hello class! I hope you had a good weekend because I sure did," she said with a wink. The class laughed. "Ok class, we have a new student today." She said looking at me "would you like to introduce yourself?" Shaking my head, I could feel everyone's eyes on me. She laughed.

"Ok I'll introduce you then, everyone stop looking at him! You're embarrassing him!" She told them. "Class, this is kellin quinn. Today will probably just an indroduc-" the door opened and in cane the most gorgeous guy I have ever seen.

"You're late Fuentes." She told him.

"Aren't I always?" He told her with a smile

"Just take a seat." He smirked and nodded slowly making his way in the back next to me.

This is going to be a interesting year.
