Let My Love Open the Door to Your Heart

I pull up at Panera Bread. I go inside and see Ken in line. He hugs me and kisses my lips. I smile at him.

"Hey Bells," He said.

I giggle making him look at me.

"Sorry. Me and Blake were talking about games we played as kids and it's something form one of their games,” I explain.
"What game?"
"Animal Crossing, I love that game."
"More than Kirby?"
"Oh no. Nothing is better than Kirby."

He laughs making me smile at him.

"Ryan told me that I need to talk to you," He said.
"Oh god what did Ryan do?"
"He told me to get you to agree to come this weekend."
"Tomorrow," I mumble."
"You can just come on Friday."
"Flights are booked. Blake tried it and sees that it is. So if I'm coming then I got to come with Ryan."
"Oh please come," Ken said pouting.
"Tried your best but not going to work."
"Oh well I tired."

I laugh at him. He kisses the top of my head.

"Do what's the best for Mike," He said.
"He wants to go to the race."
"He wants to go to all the races."
"He wants to see Uncle Blake."
"Take it you really do to, and that's why you thinking in coming."
"I'm just scared if I give in to them then they expect me to come to Millville."
"That's where it happened?"

I nod my head. He smiles at me.

"I don't see your brothers pressing for you to go to that place again," Ken said.
"Yeah maybe you are right."

We order our food and go and sit down with our drinks. His phone beeps making him look at it shocked.

"What is it?" I ask.
"I thought it was the timer I have to make sure you get on work at time. It's just a noise form a text form Adam."
"How's he doing?"
"He's good. He's looking through pictures of past races."
"Aw that's a little sad."

He laughs and he looks at me. I smile at him. He leans over ad kiss my lips.

"You are beautiful," He said.
"Thank you."

We eat as we talk. His phone goes off. We get out and he walks me to his car. I hug him and kiss his lips.

"See you later Ken," I said.
"This Sunday?"
"Of course."

He smiles at me. I get in my car and drive to the salon. I walk to the appointment book and see Friday is all blacked out. I walk over to Blair and she smiles at me.

"What up?" She asks.
"Are we close Friday?" I ask.
"Yeah."

I walk in to the room and the boss looks at me.

"Hey," I said.
"Hello Jezebel. What you need?" She asks.
"Can I take Thursday off?" I ask.
"Of course."
"Thank you."

I smile and get my phone and text Ryan that I come to the race and need to travel with them. I turn my phone off then put it away. I walk to my station and get back to work.
