Chapter Seven: The Call
It’s been a month since your kiss with Ville. Life had returned to normal. Dan still didn’t know what went on that night and you wanted to keep it that way. you hadn’t heard from Ville in the past month but thought nothing of it. you never thought he would actually call you. you had hoped he would but knew he wouldn’t. you had been working a lot trying to keep your mind off of Ville. you knew it was just a crush on a rock star and that it would soon pass.
“Excuse me miss can you help me find a CD?” an elderly woman asked you.
“Sure what band you looking for?”
“Umm . . . . . it’s for my granddaughter. What was the name of the band? I think there is a member in the band named Valo.”
“Ville Valo?” you asked.
“Yes I think that’s it.” She said smiling at you.
you took her over to the HIM CD’s and started to explain to her your favorites and the different years of the CD’s to try and help her decide. She picked a CD saying that she didn’t think that her granddaughter had this one. She thanked you and walked to the counter. you smiled and thought
If her granddaughter doesn’t have Razorblade Romance she can’t be a true HIM fan.
You laughed as you headed to the stock room. You grabbed a box of CD’s and started to walk back to the front of the store when you heard your phone ring. You couldn’t answer it because your boss would kill you so you let it ring. You stocked the CD’s and by the time you finished it was time to close the store. After doing all your closing duties you grabbed your stuff and headed to your car. Once in your car you grabbed your cell phone to see who had called you. You didn’t recognize the number but saw that you had a voice mail. You dialed your mailbox and entered your pin. The message started to play
“Hello Sweetheart. It’s Ville, Ville Valo. I wanted to tell you that I will be in West Chester next month and wanted to know if you would like to get together. Call me.” The message ended as you sat there in shock.
