fter the last game and last celebration, Sidney jumped on the first plane back to Pittsburgh. He didn't want to wait for anyone else all he wanted was to see his family.
It was still really early when he arrived at his house so he quietly sat his stuff by the door and walked up the stairs, as he opened the door to the bedroom he saw the light from the bathroom on, Addison was passed out in his bed, he smiled at the sight of his daughter and knocked lightly on the door
"Baby are you ok"
"Sidney" she asked, he opened the door slowly to see his wife leaned over the toilet
"Oh hunny" he said sadly, walking in, he kneeled down next to her and rubbed her back in soft circles, she looked at him, face pale, dark circles around her eyes
"Your home" she said gripping his sweater
"I'm here baby, are you done" he asked, she nodded and flushed the toilet "hold on" he said, he got a wash cloth and ran it under the water before handing it to her "I'm going to put addy in her bed, stay right there"
"I'm too weak to move" she said, he ran to the bed and gently picked up his daughter
"Daddy" she said groggily
"Hi princess, mommy is real sick so I'm going to have you sleep in your bed incase she gets sick again ok"
"Yes sir" she said falling back asleep, he tucked her in and kissed her head before running back to his wife
"Come on baby, I got you" he said leaning down to scoop her up, he placed her gently down in the bed and placed the cloth on her forehead, he took the empty glass and filled it with water before setting it on the night stand. He walked into the walk in closet and changed into PJ pants before walking to the bed and crawling in "come here" he said pulling her to him
"Your home" she whispered
"I came home early to be with you guys" he said kissing her head "I missed you so much" he said she nodded "try to get sleep, we will make an appointment tomorrow" he said rubbing her stomach "I love you both so much" he said
"We love you too" she whispered, he smiled. For the first time in a month he finally felt complete and the Crosby's where now a family of 5. He smiled again at the thought and fell asleep holding onto his wife.
"Daddy" he heard but this time from another voice, he woke up to see Addison holding Greyson's hand
"Shhh" he said with a smile, looking at Jessica who was still asleep. He got up and the kids both ran to him he hugged and kissed them both. He picked up each kid and walked down stairs. Taylor was in the kitchen making pancakes
"Hey bubba" she said, he sat the kids down and hugged his sister
"Thank you so so much for staying here" he said
"No problem at all, I had fun. How is Jess" she asked
"she will be alright, I need to make her an appointment for the doctor" he said with a smile
"Congrats by the way" she said
"Thanks" he said
"Thought y'all wanted to wait" she asked, Sidney shrugged
"Can't help it that I got fast swimmers" he said proudly Taylor rolled her eyes
"I'm a swimmer" Addison said. Taylor and Sidney laughed
"Yes you are" Sidney said
"Was this planned then"
"No, just didn't take any precaution" he said with a shrug "but she's real sick this time. She wasn't like this with addy or greys"
"Maybe twins" Taylor said, Sidney raised an eyebrow
"Don't jinx me" he said, she smiled and shrugged. After making several calls to let everyone know he was home and to set up an appointment he walked to the kitchen. The kids where sitting down eating, he kissed their heads and walked to his room
"Hi" Jessica said with a small smile, Sidney smiled and walked to her
"How are you feeling" he asked moving the hair from her face
"Crappy" she said with a shrug
"I set up a doctor appointment today at noon" he said, she smiled and nodded "you want to try to eat something" he asked, she shook her head no "alright baby, just get some rest and I will get you up when its time to go" he said
"thank you" she said, he kissed her lips sweetly before standing up "sidney" she called, he turned and looked at her "im glad your home" she said, he smiled
"me too baby, there is nowhere else I would rather be" he said she smiled and rolled over to try to get some more sleep before the morning sickness kicked in.
