Giving up My Humanity and My Servitude to a Vampire

Emilia Halo Johnson

{Normal Point of View}

We went to the doctor. I didn't get good news that day. James needed a special kind of treatment and it cost a lot of money. Especially since it was the depression. I thanked the doctor and headed back to the castle.

James was sleeping while the others talking.

"Sister, is James going where mama went?" asked Olivia.

"No. He's not." I said with a not so convincing smile.

"Is he going to be alright, then?" asked Daniel.

I gulped."Of course." I was lying but I could've I told them that maybe one of their brother may die? Not fit for them to hear.

As soon as the car door was opened they all jumped out. I carried a sleeping James in my arms, he was getting heavy, when I was getting to the door.

"Let me help you." the musical voice said. I looked up and saw Matthew. He took James from my arms and carried him like he was merely a feather.

"Tha--thank you." I stuttered, he chuckled as he noticed how nervous I got, which made me blush a light pink. He walked like he knew where he was going and he was correct. 'Good Lord was this guy so gorgeous, he made me feel so ugly and hideous around him.'
He chuckled out of nowhere.

"You still haven't told me your name, beautiful." he said after he had placed James on his bed and walked outside the room. He took my hand kissed it.

I pulled it away bashfully."I'm Emilia Halo, just call me Emily."

(Author's note: I didn't spelled her full name wrong, instead of being Amelia it's Emilia.)

"I like it." he smirked at me leaning on the wall and crossed his arms on his chest.

"Wel--well thank you for helping me, Mr. Heart-stein." I said sheepishly.

He frowns."Call me Matthew, never call me Mr." he said.

"Alright...Matthew." I said in a smile. If I'd known what kind of pain he was going to put me through I would've never talked to him, but it was inevitable, right there it had happened, I fell in love for the first time in my life, for a guy I barely knew about. He had no idea the kind of power he had over me now.

"I'm gonna like having you around...Emily." he said in a low tone and leaned in, I stood still, I didn't know what was about to happen until it did. He kissed me, not rough, not passionately but in a light kiss a tenderly-like kiss. Like he was afraid I was going to break. This was my first kiss, and it was with a vampire, except I didn't know, which was probably a good thing. Since that was my first kiss I had no idea what I was doing, so I just let him do his thing. He noticed I didn't react and pulled out.

"Don't be afraid to kiss back." he said.

"I'm not afraid." I said defensively."I've just ne...I mean it's my...um.." I started to panic, I didn't want him to think he was my first, but he read me like an opened book. He chuckled as he saw my difficulty to lie.

"I'm your first kiss." it wasn't a question, it was a statement. He was so suave with these things. I hated him for that, still do.

"I--I--I have to go talk with Evelyn, your mom...I know you know it's your mom...just letting you know in case you didn't know." I felt so stupid, this guy made act so stupid and I liked it. I liked acting stupid. Before he could lean in for another kiss, I quickly dodged under him and walked away. I looked back and saw him smirk.

"I'm Emilia, just call me Emily." said Emily, I could tell she got nervous around me. She talked fast and almost out of breath.

"I like it." I said and leaned on the wall and crossed my arms on my chest.

"Wel-well thank you for helping me Mr. Heart-stein." she sheepishly.

"Call me Matthew, never call me Mr." I said.

"Alright...Matthew." she said. I landed my eyes on her lips for a second and I wanted to have a taste, they looked so smooth and warm. Nothing like I've seen on a mortal.

"I'm gonna like having you around...Emily." I said in a seductive tone I used on all of the girls and she was just another mortal with the countless others. I went for it and leaned in for a kiss. She didn't move at all. As soon as I planted my lips on her I felt the warmness of her. I didn't force the kiss, I was gentle, not my style, but this kiss was different. I noticed she wasn't kissing back, I came to a conclusion this was her first kiss. I held her head close to me with my thumb and index finger under her chin. I pulled out.

"Don't be afraid." I whispered.

"I'm not afraid." she said defensively. "I've just ne...I mean it's my...um.."

I chuckled as she struggled to find an excuse.

"I'm your first kiss." I stated, I didn't questioned.

"I--I--I have to go talk with Evelyn, your mom...I know you know it's your mom...just letting you know in case you didn't know." she said and quickly dodged under me before I could've another taste of those tender lips. She wakes away almost jogging, she gives me one last look before she turns her heel around the corner of the hall.

I stood there and touched my lips. Not like other kisses.
