Chapter 29
I wrapped the final gift for Luke,Michael and Calum. we are finally seeing them today. It's been 4 days since Christmas and we have yet to exchange gifts with them.
"Are we meeting them there" i shouted from the bedroom to Ash in Aylas room
"yeah, they are already there" he replied
He was getting Ayla ready in swimmers and a cute dress while i did the gifts. Even though we are going to the beach, i still felt like today i wanted to curl my hair and the chances of me actually going into the water deep enough to get my hair wet is far off anyways so my hair was lightly curled and down with my black bikini and cover up. I'm by no means back to my pre-pregnancy body, but where i'm at i'm proud of and i want to show it off. Ashton was just in swimmers and told me he will pack a shirt for later.
"Make sure you put a lot of sun cream on her" i shouted
"i am don't worry"
Going to the beach is going to be a stressful time i think, i'm going to be so worried about her skin, i've made Ash pack a massive umbrella for her to be under as well as her play mat, a couple towels, some of her toys as well as her normal nappy bag with spare clothes and treats inside.
Ashton came into the bedroom with Ayla and she looked so cute, he had put a little hat on her head as well and it was a little too big so it was flopping down.
"So are we ready to go, we are already late" he said
"how are we late" i asked, we never said a time or anything, it's not my fault the others went early.
"well they have been at the beach for an hour already"
"so that's their fault, i never said a time we would be going i just said mid morning"
"okay fine, lets just go everything is in the car a part from us"
i picked up the bag with the presents in and we went out. Once in the car Ayla was quickly falling asleep, it is right at her nap time, but a quick nap in the car will be good enough. Ashton and i just made small talk as we drove to the beach nothing too exciting really. You know when you live with someone you conversations change, all we ever seem to talk about it if we have food in, do we need to go on a food shop. What we plan to eat for the next week to be able to do the food shop. Boring boring stuff.
We parked and Ashton got everything out and tried to place as much as possible on her stroller to somehow wheel it along the sand to the boys. I got a sleepy Ayla out
"you ready to see your uncles" i said to her as i picked her up
"i bet uncle Mikey is looking forward to a cuddle"
"got everything babe" i said as i started to walk towards the sand
"Yeah, yeah i got it"
i looked behind me and it was a funny site, i took my phone and snapped a picture

i captioned it. The stroller had 3 bags on it, Aylas nappy bag, our towel and spare clothes & some toys bag, a cooler bag with food in it and then the play matt over it and the massive umbrella he was carrying with one hand while pushing the stroller with the other.

i just laughed at them, like why would i tell them what beach we are at, we arent at a "well known" beach anyways so it's not like they can easily guess it.

we walked along the beach a bit before i spotted Michael hair and went in that direction.
"it's about time" i heard Luke shout while waving his arms
"i can see you, stop waving" i shouted back
we got up to them, Ashton having a harder time pushing the stroller on the sand as he thought he would.
"got enough stuff there mate" Calum said
"can never be too prepared" he replied as he started putting things down, he popped the umbrella up and place the play mat under, then put our towels down.
"Come here Ayla" Michael said as Ayla was waving her arms over to him wanting to be paced over
"we havent been with you for longer than a minute and she already wants you" i said to him as i gave her over
"what can i say she loves me" He sat under the umbrella with her and it was the cutest thing so of course i snapped a picture, you can never get too many pictures of your babies because they arent going to stay little forever.
"So might as well just jump right into it, here are your christmas presents, i hope you like them" i said handing them each theirs.
i unwrapped them at the same time, Ayla trying to help Michael.
"aww this is so cute livbear" Luke said
"Yeah i cant believe she was this tiny" Calum said
"i know right" i replied
I had given them all a framed picture of them holding Ayla for the first time and the frame had "Uncle their name and Ayla-Mai"
"i helped" Ashton piped up
"fuck off did you" i replied laughing
"language" Ashton said
"shut up you arse"
"oh yeah" he said getting up
oh shit, i jumped up and started qucikly waking around our group in a circle trying to get my cover up off.
"no no no no no" i shouted as i felt arms wrap round me and pick me up like i was the lightest thing in the universe
"Ashton no, babe please" I shouted as he started running the the water
"please" i begged
"hmm let me think about that" he said as his feet touched the water
"Babe" i pleaded but there it was the water hitting me as i fell from his arms
i came back up from under and looked around, where the fuck was he
"Ashton Fletcher Irwin" i shouted
"yeah babe" he replied from behind me, completely wet too
"WHY" i shouted
"because it was fun"
"you're a real dick sometimes"
"you love me" he said coming closer to him
"no i don't" i replied crowwing my arms as he wrapped his around me
"yes you do" he whispered in my ear before moving quickly to my lips and planting a kiss on them
"i really wish i didnt though" i replied
"yeah okay i believe you" he said rolling his eyes
we got out and went back up the sand
"Well that was something" Calum said
"yeah hes a dick" i replied
i lay out to dry and catch a bit of a tan, i don't know how long i had my eyes closed or if i even took a little nap but when i sat back up i was the only one with our stuff, i looked around for a bit before looking down at the water and seeing Ashton and Michael holding Ayla's hands, Luke and Calum in front of them making faces to Ayla as her feet touched the water, it was so cute, i snapped a picture

"What are we doing here" i asked as i heard Ayla giggle a little as the water touched her and Michael and Ashton lightly pulled up and then back down again
"playing"Calum said
i watched them and stood next to Ashton as he put his arm around me. This is what i love, being with the boys and my little family enjoying the day and just making little memories with Ayla
