When Past Comes Present

Harmony had been spending alot of time with Uncle Matty. She had became so spoiled by him
and Aunt Val. She had called me while I was staying at Jimmy's and invited me to go to the park with them. And Matt had called Jimmy and invited him. We both thought it was quite funny when the other one had tried to stay quiet while the other one was on the phone. Why we were acting like teenagers that didn't want there parents to find out we was dating I dont know but it was funny. Jimmy and me got some twisted idea to go to the park together. So now we was in his car on our way there. Cant wait to see what happens.

Jimmy parked the car down the road from the park. He got out and walked over to the passenger side of his car and let me out. "James there going to know something is up when they find out we rode together" I said laughing at him. "Hey dont ruin it for me. I'm trying to make it all like one of those secret detective shows where they have to figure it out. Rolling my eyes at him "James this isnt CSI. Or atleast if it is I hope im not the victim." I grabbed his hand and started walking to the park. "Well it would be easy for them to figure out who murdered you. You could say he stabbed you 50 fucking times" he smiled amused with himself and started singing "Must've stabbed her 50 fucking times I cant believe it" Harmony cut him off yelling for me. I
let go of his hand and ran to her and picked her up in a tight hug and spinned around with her in my arms. Matt and Val walked up to us hand in hand. They exchanged looks from me and Jimmy. The must of seen us holding hands I thought silently to myself as I smiled to them.

~Jimmy's P.O.V~

Why wont she look at me. We have been here at the park for 3 hours and Demon hasnt even looked my way since Harmony ran to her. Harmony just ran up to Matt and Val this is the perfect time to get her attention. "Demon" I yelled as I ran over to her and hugged her from behind. "James" she yelled and pushed me away from her smiling. Oh thank god she is just playing with me. "I miss you." Oh god great one James now she is going to think your clingy.
That ruined your marriage with LeAnna. Back off man. "Aww then why didnt you come play with me and Harmony" "I was afraid you didnt want me around" rolling her eyes she grabbed my hand and pulled me over to where Matt and Val was playing in the grass. She sit down and laughed at how Harmony was beating up uncle matty. I sit down next to Demon. She was still holding my hand. She smiled at Harmony. "Hey baby girl you remember Jimmy dont you" Oh god what is she doing?
Harmony walked over and sit in Demon's lap. "Yes mommy. Why do you ask" Wow this little girl is so smart and formal with her words. She is such a great mother. "Do you remember what i told you about your father?" now this caught my attention and apparently Matt's too. He looked at Demon and back to me raising his eyebrow. "Yes. You said when you was younger you seen a crazy blue eyed boy who stole your heart. And that he was in a band and played the drums. But then you had to move away and you found out that he was just pretending to love you and that he fall off the face of the earth and doesnt exist no more." Ouch. That was a stab in the chest.
"Well then nice to know I fell off the face of the earth." I whispered lowly in Demon's ear. She looked at me and sighed and gave me a small grin then looked back at Harmony. "Your daddy didnt fall off the face of the earth I only said that out of hurt and anger sweety. Actually
thing is...Well your daddy has been around you since we went to uncle Matty's cookout." Oh god shes going to tell her. Oh fuck. What do I say to her? What do I do. I dont know how to be a daddy. "Really mommy? Who is it" she said smiling excitedly. "Is it Uncle Matty. No wait Uncle Brian"
she said jumping up and down trying to figure out who it is. Demon looked at me then back at Harmony. "Well you have alot in common with your daddy. You have his eyes. Your tall like he is. You have all kinds of musical talent. And he is your favorite drummer" with that the Harmony eyes
went wide and she looked at me. I smiled and went to reach out to her but she took a step back. "You mean that The Rev is my daddy" Demon just shook her head and smiled. I got up on my knees and cleared my throat. I wasnt sure what to do or what to say. I opened my mouth
and hoped the first thing that came out wasnt stupid. "Harmony, I know its all to much to take in right now for you. But now that I know about you and since me and your mommy are together again I want you to know I will never leave your side I will be the best daddy that ever existed I promise." I held out my arms hoping for a hug. She just looked at me blankly for a
moment and started crying. She ran to me and knocked me back in the grass. Her little arms tightly around my neck. "Daddy" she said softly as she held onto me. I wrapped my arms around her and stood up. Demon sit in the grass smiling up at me. I held my hand out to her "How about
us 3 go back to my house and have some family time?" Harmony giggled and held on to me tighter "But daddy I wanna play." Being called daddy will have to be something to get used. "Well then we will stay here a little bit longer" I said shrugging as I attempted to sit her down on the grass. She kept ahold of my neck. "Carry me to the swings and push me daddy." Picking her back up I walked over to Demon who was now standing next to Matt talking. "Hey baby I'm going to go push Harmony on the swings" "Okay James" she lightly kissed my lips "Eww" Harmony said covering her eyes. I couldn't help but smile as I kissed Demon back. I think this will be easier then I thought.
