When I returned from my honeymoon, Axel was nowhere to be found in my office building.
Something deep inside me told me this was wrong. It was all wrong. The man had been here in the foyer of my building for five years. He wouldn’t just stop.
Ean met me on the street, told me not to worry and that he would find Axel.
Ean did find Axel, but I wasn’t expecting where he’d been found.
He had been brutally attacked and left to die in the alleyway.
