A New Labyrinth
The Goblin King
"Hello Ara." He said his voice like velvet
"You're the Goblin King." I said my eyes wide
He smiled, no smirked at me.
"But you can't be real." I said horrified
"I am very real. My name is Jareth."
"Where is Dakota?" I asked now I was getting max
"You know where." He simply said
"I didn't mean what I said." I stated
"What said is said." He shrugged
"Give him back!" I said
"Ara. Go back to your room. Listen to your music, read your books, forget about the boy." He said
"I can't. I won't." I said
"I've brought you a gift." He said out of nowhere
With a slight movement of his hand a clear little ball appeared. It danced on the back of his fingers as he moved to one hand to the other. I watched transfixed on the ball as it moved so gracefully.
"What is it?" I asked
"It's a crystal."
"What does it do?" I asked
"Well if you turn it this way it will show you your dreams. But this isn't for an ordinary girl who takes care of a screaming baby." He said still moving the ball around. "Do you want it?"
I didn't realize I nodded my head.
"Forget the boy." He said
"No." I said now looking in to his eyes. "I want him back."
"Ara don't defey me!" He yelled
The ball turned into a snake and he threw it at me. I caught it throwing it down. The snake than turned onto a goblin, running off.
"You are no match for me." He said
"I don't care! I want Dakota back!" I said
"He is there in my castle." He said moving out of the way
I walked towards him, to the window. There was a maze, no a labyrinth and at the center was a castle. I turned around to face him and I wasn't in my house anymore. And it wasn't dark either. The sun shined bright.
"You still want to go?" He asked
"Just beyond the Goblin City. Yep I am going." I said
"Turn back Ara. Turn back before its too late." He said disappearing
"Not a chance buddy!" I yelled into the sky.
I made my to the walls of the labyrinth.
Step one: Get inside.
Step two: get to the Goblin City
Step three: get to the castle
Step four: beat Jareth's ass
Step five: take Dakota home
Yep. That's the plan. Why do I have this feeling it won't that easy.
