Day: 96

“I have something to tell you, Parker.” She says as she turns on her stomach to face me.

“What is it, love?”

She hesitates. “I haven’t been completely honest about my childhood.” She begins, and picks at a piece of grass. “I was a very sad kid and my parents didn’t really know how to deal with me… So I grew up in a hospital.” She admits. I tuck a stray hair behind her ear. “I struggle with depression every day. Sometimes the demons inside have such a strong hold on me, I don’t know what to do. But having you helps me, a lot. Your love helps me fight them away.”

“I promise I will always be there to help you fight away your demons.” I tell her with a warm smile. I take her hand in mine, and kiss her delicate fingers.

“I love you, Parker.”

“I love you, Bella.”
