I got off the bus, Yemi was there sitting at the bus stop. He stood up soon as he saw me, I started crying.

"Shh, don't cry man." he said as he walked up and hugged me, he then kissed me on my cheek.

We arrived at the flat.

Yemi lives in a flat with some of his mates from university.

"Sorry the place is a mess." We went into his room.

"Come leave the light." he said taking me by the hand.

I then followed him into the dark.

I started to cry as Yemi put his arms around me. "What now?" I said.

Yemi was silent again.

"I broke up with her already." he eventually replied.

"You what!" I said, propping myself up. Wiping my nose on my sleeve as I looked up at him.

"I broke up with her." he repeated.

"I thought you said wait for a bit."

"Yeah but I know what I want ennit." he said staring at me. "Why waste anymore time, but now you rang and told me this. Everything has just messed up." he sighed.

I laid my head back down on his chest, my phone buzzed again, I ignored it.

"You know what you need to do, you need to tell him."

I started to well up again.

"Shh" he said as he caressed my cheek, wiping my salty tears.

"But my brother as well" I mumbled, sobbing.

"Come on man, there's only a year between us. What's the harm."

"He's going to be upset we kept it from him, for so long. Plus the fact I was with Jerome."

Suddenly Yemi's phone started vibrating, he picked it up.

I watched Yemi's face, his eyes moving frantically.

"What is it?" I said my heart beating rapidly.

"Josh knows" he said quietly.
