I Could Use a Love Song

Katsumi(Kat) is a military brat that lived in South Korea until she was 12, then her dad started getting switched to new assignments more often. They lived in Japan, Italy, and Germany before getting stationed in New York during her high school years. Kat falls in love with the city and doesn't want to leave, even when her dad retires from the military and the family wants to go back to South Korea.
Kat sets out to become an interpreter and manager in the music industry.
Now Kat is 21, living in New York, and managing various bands. Even though she's making a name for herself she's struggling to make ends meet. She gets a call from her uncle in South Korea with an offer she can't refuse: come manage a Kpop band, and all her living expenses will be taken care of.
Is the deal too good to be true?
