The Strange Case of Mr Hyde and His Assistant

“Alex you little bugger”I said giggling as Alex was running up to the white house that was Emma’s.
“Jessica!What a lovely surprise!Hello to you too little Alex!”David said scooping up Alexander and throwing him in the air. Not too high though. Their son Neil was a year and a half so they weren’t much bigger than each other seeing as how tall and large Hyde is
“And hello to you as well Mr.Hyde, how are you guys?”Snow asked smiling at him. He smiled back linking arms with mine
“I have to say...Storybrooke is quite...peaceful”Hyde said smiling at his son as he giggled and ran in the house with little Neil.
“Were you just going to see Emma?”Snow asked as David handed me Alex
“Oh yeah, they asked for a real deal child experience and Emma said it didn’t feel like the real deal with little Neil here so we’re dropping off Alex for them to play house while we go on a double date with Belle and Rumple”I said smiling. David and Snow looked surprised
“Well now Mr.Hyde I never thought I’d see you and the Dark One getting along”David said chuckling. Hyde rolled his eyes
“I assure you this was not my idea...but I gave my word I’d play nice for the sake of the ladies” Hyde said looking at me with annoyance. I smirked up at him
“It’s hard being best friends with the lover of your lovers enemy”I said giggling
“I’ll have to take your word on that”Snow said laughing as well.
“Well, it was nice to see you guys but our date is at 5 and it’s now” I pulled out my touch phone and clicked the unlock button
“Oh man it’s 4:45!Thank goodness it’s only a 10 minute walk from here”I said
“It’d be a lot quicker if you guys got a vehicle you know, it’s a lot more efficient and warm than a horse and buggy”David said smirking. I laughed
“Well we’ve...never driven a car”I said awkwardly
“Just let me know when you want me to teach you guys and I will”Emma said coming out with Killian.
“Hey!”I said happily as I walked up to her.
“Hey there girl. How you doing?”Emma asked smiling
“I’m great!!!! How’s the married life Mrs. Jones?”I asked giggling. She laughed showing me the ring I’ve seen many times, but I’d never rain on her parade
“It’s...the happy ending I’ve always wanted..how about you..Hi Hyde”Emma said looking over me and waving.
“Hello savior. Not fighting villains today?”Hyde asked smirking. Emma laughed lightly for a moment
“Not today...not in a while..but I’m not that rusty if you’d like to find out”Emma said smirking.
“That’s quite alright, perhaps another time, Jessica and I have a date in 10 minutes.Come now darling, he’ll be perfectly fine when we return”Hyde smiling as he held out his hand. I sighed kissing Alex’s forehead.
“Okay um he’s not big on veggies, and he loves mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, he likes apples, apple juice, yogurt, and he usually eats at 7, bath at 8 and bed at 9 if he doesn’t go down at 9, like he’s still hyper-”I gasped as Hyde started to pull me away. Emma and Killian were laughing at how protective I was being
“If he doesn’t go to sleep his go to is pirates!He loves the pirate songs and lullabies!”I called as Hyde was pulling me away
“Jess we’ve got this. Go have fun!”Emma said smiling. I smiled
“Alright!Oh I almost left with the diaper bag!”I said with wide eyes and as Killian held out his hook, I hung the diaper bag on it
“At least you have a sense of humor...bye guys!Bye my sweet baby boy!”I said kissing Alex’s forehead one last time and leaving in a rush with Hyde.
There, we met with Belle and a very dreadful looking Rumple
“You look so happy to see me Dark One”Hyde said smirking. Rumple glared at him
“Let’s just play nice for the girls...deal?”Rumple asked and Hyde held out his hand
“Deal”He said which Rumple took it and shook nodding.
“Alright then, we have a table boys”Belle said as Belle and I instantly linked arms and went inside. We started talking about our boys, who her son, Killian, is only a couple months older. Like 6 months older than Alexander. We sat across the table from each other as we continued talking happily. Hyde and Rumple both ordered a drink with alcohol in it
“Who’s watching the little pirate tonight?”I asked giggling as I took a sip of my strawberry wine.
“I asked Regina to watch him. She was excited since Henry hasn’t been a baby for 16 years now”Belle said laughing. We ordered our food and even Rumple and Hyde started talking. I mean.. It was politics..typical men….always about power...but at least they were conversing.
“You know...if you guys would like….we have an amazing ballroom on our third floor...I’m sure there’s a very specific song you guys haven’t danced to in a really long time”I said smirking as I put my head in my hands looking at them
“What kind of ballroom we talking here?”Belle asked with a smirk. I looked at Hyde as we both smirked at each other
“Let’s just say it’s got a serious Enchanted forest vibe”I said as we got up, and took them to our house
“Oh...my god Jessica why haven’t you invited me over yet?!”Belle said looking up the spiral staircase
“Well..I was afraid everyone might think I kind of went overboard when I gave Regina the memories of how I wanted our home to look...and I mean like after the ballroom, we have a library on the second floor if you’d like me to show you, there’s a cigar room so they’ll be occupied”I whispered the last part to Belle which made her giggle
“You’re terrible at whispering”Rumpe said with a raised brow. I laughed at that
“I wasn’t trying all that hard to whisper. You were supposed to hear that”I said giggling now.
“Come on to the ballroom”I said smiling as we took to the stairs. Once we got to the ballroom I turned my back to the door
“Now...I really hope this doesn’t offend you Rumple...but when Belle told me about your ballroom back in the enchanted forest….I had to recreate it”I said opening the doors. The room was red, and the ballroom floor was yellow marble. I ran over to the record player and their song began to play
“How did you get our song?”Rumple asked. Hyde rolled his eyes
“Are you just oblivious on how often these two..what do you call it here? Text?”Hyde said walking in the room and grabbing me by the waste.
“For tonight, you’ll just have to share this song...so I may dance with the woman I love as well” Hyde said smiling at me as he gently spun me making me giggle as we danced.
“I suppose tonight I’ll make an acception”Rumple said taking Belle by the hand and the four of us danced the night away. Around 10pm we said our goodbyes and went to go get Alex..he was fast asleep in his pajamas...so we put him to bed. I tucked him in and kissed his forehead.
“Sleep tight my little prince”I whispered and quietly closed the door. I went to our room where Hyde was already in the mirror taking off his clothes
“I suppose dinner with the Dark One wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be...Belle really has changed him...I never thought I’d see the day that he of all people would find love”Hyde said shaking his head as I changed into a black silk nightgown
“Well I never thought I’d see the day that you’d finally admit that you loved me...all it took was a near death experience”I said laughing. Hyde turned to me in nothing but black silk boxers and walked over to me
“And I hope you never have to go through that again…I can’t bare to lose you now..not ever” Hyde said gently caressing my cheek. I smiled kissing his hand.
“Jekyll is long gone and we’ve been living happily ever since..I’m not going anywhere..I love you my husband..so so much”I said and with that he kissed me deeply
"I love you too my wife"He said and I’m sure you can figure out where that went…..

(Next night) We were invited to dinner at Granny’s. Apparently all of our friends are going to be there. It was a big dinner and I was excited to go. Hyde as usual was dressed in a black tux with a red tie and I was in a skintight dress that went just below my knees, it was crimson on the front, and solid black on the back with a black lace on top of that matching my lace sleeves that came just above my elbows. I wore stilettos, a necklace with a heart around my neck, my bracelet from Hyde on my right wrist, and my ring finger on my left. I also wore red ruby earrings and my makeup consisted of eyeliner, mascara, and red lipstick.
“Jess you came!”Emma said coming over and hugging me
“Hey!Of course we came!”I said hugging her back
“I just wasn’t sure if this was Hyde’s kind of thing”Emma said smirking as she looked at Hyde
“That’s where you’ve got me all wrong...I love dinner parties...mingling, conversing, it is one of my more favorable hobbies”Hyde said walking off and going over to talk with David and Killian, making me roll my eyes with a smile.
“Yeah well maybe because you love hearing the sound of your own voice”I said giggling as I watched Hyde conversing, laughing with Emma. He gave me a playful glare and I giggle again
“Hey, I just wanted to let you guys know, there’s a playpen over there with some of the other babies, Neil,Alexandra and little Robin is in there too”Emma said pointing over to a rather large fenced in area with lots of toys, and other kids
“Oh boy, Alex and Alexandra?That’s gonna be interesting”I said giggling as I set Alex down and he instantly went for the mountain of toys. I laughed
“Don’t worry, leave your bag there and Granny will be watching them. She offered”Emma said shrugging. I smiled
“Well, I’ll check on him once in a while, but if Granny insists, I’ll follow along”I said as I linked arms with Hyde smiling.
We soon joined everyone else, David, Snow, Henry, Zelena, Elle, her husband, Regina, Emma, Killian, and then we heard the door open. We looked back and in came Belle with Killian and Rumple
“My little pirate!”I said excitedly and gently took Killian in my arms. He was sleeping peacefully and I gently put my finger in his hand. His tiny little fingers curled around mine and I almost teared up
“He’s so perfect Belle...truly a handsome boy”I said smiling down at him. Hyde walked over kissing my temple
“Don’t get any ideas, we just had one”Hyde said making me laugh.
“No no no I think I’m good with the baby making until Alexander is at least 4”I said smiling as I watched him play with Alexandra.
So we all grabbed our kids, sat down at the dinner table, which had quite a few highchairs, and we conversed, laughing and having a great time, Hyde was starting to get along well with David and Killian they were even laughing. It’s hard to make Hyde laugh, even for me. We all became very very good friends...and lived happily ever after…..
