Chapter 20 - Final Chapter (but not the last)
(later that night)
When Hyde met Gracie my heart warmed. She wasn’t afraid of him in the slightest. She thought his scar was cool and asked if she could touch it. He of course let her, and when she looked at his eyes she smiled and said red was her favorite color because her Aunt Jess always wore red. I smiled and soon after that Hyde and I retreated to my room. I showed him how the shower works. He went first..and when I used the shower, I walked in the room in only a towel. Hyde looked back at me and his eyes widened
“Jessica?”Hyde asked in shock

“That was given to me by Alex….my engagement ring..before he was murdered… I’ve never taken it off until now...but..I think it would be good for us to move on..still keep them in our hearts and thoughts...but it’s time we move forward”I said as I tied the ribbon and grabbed a push pin from my desk. I pinned the necklace up on the wall, above my desk, the necklace and ring showing perfectly.

So Emma and the crew had more battles to face...her final battle was with non other than the Black Fairy...an evil fairy who takes children away and makes them work in her mines...forever… but Emma found a way to stop her like she always did….

“Thank you so much Regina. I love my brother and niece...but it’d be nice not to have to wake up to Gracie throwing a tantrum and my brother constantly trying his antics on me..I swear he acts like we’re still 11 when he used to fill water guns up with tea and squirt me..which by the way happened Wednesday”I said in annoyance as Regina, Hyde and I walked to the woods on the edge of the road.
“It’s not a problem. Is this good?”Regina asked stopping at a random spot on the road where there were trees

“Relax, I’m going to use my magic to clear a spot and poof you up a, what did you want again? A mini mansion?Like what?”Regina asked. I laughed
“Still got that dream catcher I asked you to bring?”I asked smirking. Regina handed it over to me and I held it out letting the memory of how I wanted our home to look into the dreamcatcher.
“Here.All my thoughts on how I want our house to look”I said smiling. She waved her hand and held her chin with the same hand as she held the dreamcatcher with the other and watched the scenes.
“Okay, wow...a hot tub really?”Regina said looking back at me
“What’s a hot tub?A bathtub that is always kept hot?”Hyde asked confused. I giggled
“Pretty much accept you don’t wash yourself in it...you just enjoy the warm water as you drink some syrah with me...and besides..there are many fun things we could do in that hot tub”I said smirking as I kissed his cheek.
“Really now?”Hyde said smirking
“Okay if you want me to do this I suggest you not make me sick”Regina said. I looked at her smiling
“Sorry about that”I said scratching my cheek
“It’s a tall order, but I can do it”Regina said looking back at the area of woods we were in. She held her hand up and waved it. A shit ton of trees poofed away in purple, and there before us stood the very house I wanted…….

“I guess magic has its perks”Hyde said looking around with a smirk
“Well, enjoy. Here’s the keys”Regina poofed up two keys and handed them to me. I handed one to Hyde with a big smile on my face.
“Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have to go figure out how to defeat my evil twin…”She said and poofed away.
“Let’s go!!I had Regina poof all of our belongings here too”I said smiling as I took his hand and started to rush to the house. He chuckled
“Jessica, don’t worry, the house isn’t going anywhere”He said with a smile seeing how excited I was.
“I know but I just can’t wait to see the inside of our new home!”I said happily as I pulled out my key and opened the door. I gasped seeing the spiral staircase….
“Oh it’s better than I literally imagined...seeing it all really here...oh!Come with me!I even made rooms for you”I said smiling as I pulled him to the left.
“For me?”He asked smirking
“Well of course!This is your house too!”I said and opened my arms
“A cigar room!There’s even a fireplace!”I said as I walked to the mantle and opened a box with glass on the top
“She really missed absolutely no details”I said smirking as I pulled out a cigar
“This is amazing...thank you”Hyde said walking over and kissing me. I kissed back happily.
“What else is here?”He asked smiling. I smiled back and showed him every room...I stopped upstairs
“Now...I didn’t know how you would feel about this, and we can always change things...but.. These two rooms are hopefully for our future”I said nervously. He chuckled
“What is it?”He asked as I opened the door on the left first. He walked in and looked around
“Is this...a nursery?”Hyde asked looking around in confusion. I smiled as I walked in with him as well looking at the woodsy deer theme I chose for the room.

“Alright now, I’ve seen both rooms”Hyde gently pushed me up against the door making me blush
“Now tell me...why are you showing me these rooms?”He asked with a raised brow. I smiled
“I’m not saying I’m pregnant...and maybe this is a little too soon...but...someday soon...I’d..like to have a baby…with you..I want to have your child Hyde”I said blushing. He smirked and kissed me.
“Let’s get married first”He said making my eyes widen
“Really?Kind of an improper way of asking me”I said laughing. He smiled taking his ring off of his finger and slipping it on mine, which, was a bit loose on me
“Jessica...will you marry me?”Hyde said gently touching my cheek. I smiled up at him
“I never thought this day would come to be honest...but now that it has….” I stepped back
“You’re going to have to propose better than that. I mean I’ve been waiting a while for those words. Try again, next time be more romantic, and get down on your knee”I said giving him the ring back, laughing as I ran off
“Hey!”He said following me down the hall. I opened a door and there he saw our bedroom with our closets already filled with what we wear.
“This is our room”I said smiling as I fell on the bed. Hyde followed me on the bed crawling on top of me and kissing me deeply. I kissed back happily. After a make out session we lied down on the bed smiling looking up at our ceiling. I sat up and looked around, seeing where all our stuff is. I walked to my desk where I would do my makeup and hair and other things..when I noticed a necklace on my desk
“Hyde”I said
“What is it?”Hyde asked getting up.
“Was this Mary’s?”I asked turning and holding the necklace out. His eyes grew sad and he gently grabbed the necklace
“Yes...I don’t know how it got here..Jekyll had it last”Hyde said looking down at it in his hands. I bit my lip
“Whale probably gave it to Emma or Regina and Regina poofed it in here...but..that’s alright...I’ve got the perfect place for this so that you can always think of her”I said gently taking it. I took off the ruby ring on my right ring finger, and hooked it onto the necklace
“That was given to me by Alex….my engagement ring..before he was murdered… I’ve never taken it off until now...but..I think it would be good for us to move on..still keep them in our hearts and thoughts...but it’s time we move forward”I said as I tied the ribbon and grabbed a push pin from my desk. I pinned the necklace up on the wall, above my desk, the necklace and ring showing perfectly.
“There. Now they’ll always stay close”I said smiling softly. Hyde wrapped an arm around my shoulders and kissed my temple
“It’s perfect”He said looking up at it. I smiled happily looking up at it as well taking in a deep breath and exhaling happily.
“Yeah it is”I said and with that we walked down to the kitchen...
I wanted some coffee…
So Emma and the crew had more battles to face...her final battle was with non other than the Black Fairy...an evil fairy who takes children away and makes them work in her mines...forever… but Emma found a way to stop her like she always did….
Hyde and I kept to ourselves mostly...the Black Fairy paid us a visit once or twice to ask for our help but even Hyde refused, wanting a peaceful life with me….and after a while, everything became peaceful for good….Hyde and I were married 2 months after the Black Fairy was defeated, and then we got pregnant...and I gave birth to our beautiful baby boy…
I named him Alexander...Hyde was alright with that...we lived out our days in that house and watched our kids grow..together...happily ever after….
