Summer

Fall

Winter had come.
Summer met Winter on a beautiful day.
Flowers were in bloom,
The earth was ample,
The air was warm.
Winter had a strange interest in Winter.
He was always surrounded by the cold.
The warmth of Summer was new.
His curiosity called him to her.
Summer had never before seen Winter.
Summer felt what she never felt before,
True love.
Summer denounced her responsibilities,
For a chance at love.
She soon became a part of Winter.
She never felt so warm,
She never felt such power as Winter.
His kind words,
His graceful white snow.
He was a true force to reckon with.
Their love, they called,
Fall, a beautiful mixture of warmth and cold.
A mixture of two strong forces, intertwined with the other.
The cold accompanied fire wherever it went.
Summer was happy.
Winter had come.
But then,
Winter left.
