A Delicate Balance

It was a simple enough deal. A few rules bent, a blind eye turned.

Simple.

Until it's not.

She shouldn't be surprised. Not really, anyway.

Any good cop -hell, anyone with even a shred of common sense- should know that making a deal with a cartel boss is risky business.
