A Painful Life

Yumi’s POV

Two more miles to go… That’s how it always been. Moving around, from one village to another. Maybe I’m exaggerating. It’s not like I’ve been traveling all over the globe. It was just between two villages; the Leaf and the Sound. You’re probably wondering what the hell I’m talking about, right? So I think now it’s time to introduce myself. My name is Kyoro Yumi. That’s “last, first”. I am thirteen years old. I am a Sound village kunoichi. Well at least that’s what I’ve been told. I have been moving between two villages so much that I have forgotten which village is my birthplace.

And now for the next valid question; why am I moving? That is a very good question, but I, myself, still don’t know the answer. I just think it was better for me to leave, until I find answers to what is going on with my life. I also know what you’re thinking right now. “What about your parents?” Well, if you have read the summary, you will know that my parents will killed. As for my sister, well, I haven’t seen her since I was seven. She took care of me and raised me, until she went on a mission and never came back. Some say she was killed, some say she has been imprisoned. But, that doesn’t change the bitter reality that I haven’t seen her for six years.

Oh great! All that talking has got me carried away that I haven’t realized I have reached the gates. Finally.

“I’m Kyoro Yumi from the Sound village. Here is my permission slip”.

The guards took a look at my slip and allowed me to enter. Wow, it hasn’t changed since I was last here. This brings back so many memories. The beauty of this village is just so much to take in. Oh and look, you can see the four Hokages’ carved faces on the mountains.

Author’s POV

As Yumi was walking around, admiring the beauty of Konoha, she hadn’t realized she had bumped into a tree. Luckily, she didn’t black out. “Well this was embarrassing”. She forwarded her pace to the Hokage’s building until she reached his office and knocked on the door.

“Enter”.

She opened the door and found the Hokage at his office.

"Hello, Lord Hokage," Yumi said to the Hokage as she bowed politely.

"Ah, yes. Kyoro Yumi. Welcome to Konoha,” said the Hokage.

"Thank you Lord Hokage."

"You are the first heir to the Kyoro clan, aren't you? I heard that its first heir was born with a demon dragon inside of her. Am I correct?" The Hokage said.

"So, you know about my clan? It's true but I'll get this someone who killed my clan," Yumi replied.

The Hokage looked at Yumi for a while. "Yes. I'm sure you will. Now I need you to perform a Shadow Clone Jutsu, so you can obtain the Leaf Village regulation headband."

"Sure." Yumi nodded as she did some hand signs and clones popped up around her.

The Hokage smiled. "Excellent! Just what I'd expect from a Kyoro. There's your headband." He handed her the headband.

"Thank you, Lord Hokage." Yumi said as she took the head band, bowed politely then she left the room.
“God, it was just a Shadow Clone Jutsu”, she thought.

Yumi's POV

After I took the headband from Lord Hokage, I walked out and wrapped it around my neck. I passed someone but I didn't look at him. I was relieved to finally be out of the sound village then suddenly I remembered about what team will I be in. So I ran back and bumped into someone’s back and fell.

I looked up and saw a man with gray hair and a mask looking back at me. I knew this day would never end for me bumping into someone or something.

"I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to bump into you," I apologized.

"You gotta be careful." The man answered.

"Yeah, sure. It’s weird what has gotten into me," I said, blushing.

"KEE-YA! WHATEVER!!" said the inner Yumi.

I then stood up and pretended to walk away. After the man went inside, I waited for him to go out so that I could enter the office and ask Lord Hokage which team will I be in. I wondered what was going in there.

Kakashi's POV

Today, I didn't have any missions for my squad so I decided to give them a day off but before I would go there and tell them, I had to go to the Hokage's office. He said he needed me for something very important. As I reached the office, I saw a girl walking past me. I looked at her and felt a strange feeling. I never saw her before. I was about to knock on the door when suddenly someone bumped into my back. I looked behind me and saw a red headed girl.

"I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to bump into you." The girl apologized.

"You gotta be careful." I said.

'What a clumsy girl! She must be new. I hope she's not on my team.' I thought.

"Yeah sure. It’s weird what has gotten into me," the girl said, blushing.

She stood up and walked away. I went inside the Hokage's office.

"Hello, Lord Hokage. You wanted me today, right ,sir?" I said, bowing.

"Yes Kakashi. There's a new girl here. I'm sure you saw her. Her name is Kyoro Yumi," the Hokage said.

"Kyoro? Yumi? Isn't she the heir to the Kyoro clan? It's one of the most powerful clans in the Sound Village?" I asked.

"That's right! She's come to live here. After Orochimaru killed her clan but I don't think she knows that, so she will be on your team." He replied.

"Oh, yes. Of course, sir." I said.

'She must be the girl who bumped into me. Oh man! I'll have two Narutos!' I thought.

"That's it. You can go now. Oh and by the way, don't make her angry or her dragon demon chakra will be unleashed. And, keep her safe from any possible dangers," the Hokage added.

"I'm quite aware of that, Lord Hokage."
