I'm Not What You Expected.

Jacob's POV

I stared at Embry and Quil, I knew they were hiding something from me, but I couldn't quite figure it out, what could it possibly be.

"Tell me!" I yelled

Embry jumped up a bit, a bit scared from my outburst.

"Tell you what?"

"What are you hiding from me? I know you're trying not to think about it, so I wont be able to hear it."

"There's nothing to tell Jacob." Sam Spoke this time

I turned around and saw Sam standing at my doorway.

"You guys are hiding something from me!"

"Not us."

"What?"

"It's not us who are hiding something Jacob."

I looked at them with a confused face, this was really starting to frustrate me.

"Just tell me!" I shouted as I stood up

"Go ask her."

"Who?"

Sam raised an eyebrow.

"Lene?" I asked

"I didn't say anybody."

"Out of my way." I told Sam as I walked past him.

"Jacob where are you going?" Sam called out

"Non of your business."

"Just ask her she'll know what we're talking about."

I looked at Sam, then got in my car and started heading to Forks, everything had been so chaotic lately, nothing seemed to add up or make sense but I really didn't care because I knew Lene loved me the way I loved her.

Hopefully she's home.

I parked and smiled as I saw her car parked, I got out and walked to the front just like always it was open.

"Lene!" I called out

"Who are you?" I heard a man's voice ask me

I smelled a horrid smell, one I knew to well, Edward had probably been here. I turned around and saw a tall blond guy with a thinking face.

"Who are you?" I asked him

"Alexander R-Smith Lene's father."

"Oh um nice to meet you sir"

"Same here..."

"Oh Jacob Black sir."

"Why are you looking for Lene?"

"She's uh... my girlfriend."

Even if I haven't ask her to be my girlfriend.

"Jacob Black." He said in a low voice as he looked out the window

"Is she not home?"

"Not at the moment, she's with the Cullen family."

"Right."

Of course, she spends all her time with them.

"I'll tell her you dropped by."

"Thanks. Nice meeting you again."

He nodded without looking at me, I walked out the door closing my eyes as I walked taking a deep breath of the fresh clean air then I bumped into something.

"Ow."

"Lene!" I exclaimed

"Hey Jacob." She smiled

"Sorry I wasn't looking." I mumbled as I helped her up.

"It's alright, I'm happy to see you."

"Me too." I said taking her into a big bear hug

"I have a question for you."

"Can't"

"Sorry."

She took a deep breath then giggled as her cheeks flushed, I loved it when that happened.

"So what is it?"

"Uh... Would you be my girlfriend?"

She stared at me wide eyed, and then I noticed the hint of sadness, and worry in them.

"Of course!" She said hugging me

I pulled her away from me and roughly presses my lips to hers, I don't know why I did it with so much force but I had the feeling that I needed to, like she needed it. She wrapped her arms around my neck and with the same force kissed me back as her heart raced faster than ever.

"Lene." I said as I tried to catch my breath.

"yeah?" She said breathing hard

"I love you."

"I love you too."

"Oh and your dad is here."

"What? OH I forgot."

I looked back and saw him staring at us.

"Do you think he'll get mad?" I asked

"I'm not sure, but it would be better if you leave."

"Yeah and um."

"Can you come tomorrow?" She asked

"Sure, sure."

She pecked my lips before walking back to her house, I smiled to myself and made my way back to my car.
