I sighed, and logged off. He was my best friend, and I didn't even know him. I had other
friends, butI couldn't tell them anything without them blabbing it around town.
"Alyssa! Dinner!" My mom shouted. I stood up.
"Be right there!" I shouted back. I parted my brown hair to the side, and ran downstairs. I sat
down.
"Aly, you really should dye your hair again." My sister, Arianna said. I shook my head.
"I like it." I said, flipping some hair out of my face. My family hated my hair. It was brown, with
red and blonde streaks in it. My whole family tried it's hardest to be perfect, while I always
was myself.
"We'll talk about your hair later Alyssa." My dad said. He always got the final word.
"Okay." I said, filling my fork with food.
"Alyssa!" My mom scowled. She didn't like me stuffing my face. She didn't have to worry
about me though, it was Arianna she had to worry about. In the past two years, I hadn't
gained any weight. And if I did, I just lost it. That was the thing Arianna hated about me. I
never gained weight, I had the perfect body. She tried to eat as little as she could, and still
gained it. She wasn't overweight, she was the same size as me, but she thought that was
fat.
"Sorry mom." I groaned, looking down. My clothes didn't look fancy at all. It was just simple
blue jeans, and a black t-shirt. My mom had her perfect blonde hair parted, and flipped out,
and was wearing a dress. Arianna had her black hair in curls, and was wearing a mini skirt,
and a tank top. Then there was my father. He was wearing a black suit, and his brown hair
was falling out.
"Arianna, you can help with dishes, and Alyssa, you can help your mother with the yard." My
dad said. It was 4:35pm, we always had our supper early.
"Okay." I sighed, pushing my plate away from mybody.
"Come on Alyssa." My mother said, standing up. I nodded, following her. I opened the door,
walking outside. I grabbed a shovel, and stood.
"What do you need help with?" I asked, watching a car drive past. The windows were down,
and the radio was blasted.
"We need to pull weeds, then plant some flowers." My mom smiled her to perfect smile. I
started pulling weeds out.
"Alyssa! Your computer keeps beeping! Make it stop!" Arianna shierked. I smiled, running in
the house.
"Got it!" I said, running into my room. I opened my laptop.

I smiled, shutting my laptop off. I grabbed my cell phone, and ran back outside.
"What happened?" My mom asked. I grinned.
"Friend wants to call me." I said. She nodded, thinking it was a friend from school.

Joe: Hey! Is this... randomxlove?

Alyssa: Helping my mom with the yard.

I closed my phone, grinning. Wait, what was his name?
"Shit!" I shouted. My mom looked at me, along with my dad from the window. I covered my
mouth.
"Sorry!" I said. My entire family frowned.
"Alyssa, go to your room!" My dad said. I nodded, walking up to my room. I set my phone
down, and laid on my bed. I flipped my radio on, and listened to the music.
"Alyssa! Shut that junk off!" Arianna growled. I groaned, and obeyed. Arianna and I were
twins, but didn't seem it at all. She looked older, and totally different. We obviously weren't
identical. She hated any kind of music that wasn't classical. I looked around my room. I had
posters of bands, and celebrities. Arianna had posters of muscular boys, and nature stuff.
"Wow, it's already time for bed." I muttered to myself. I grabbed a pair of red pajamas from
my dresser, and walked into my bathroom. I changed out of my clothes, and into my
pajamas. I walked out, pulling the blankets over my head.

"Alyssa wake up. It's time for breakfast!" Arianna shouted. I opened my eyes, pulling my
pillow on top of my head.
"I'll eat later, go away Ari!" I moaned. She glared.
"Don't call me that! And no! Come downstairs NOW!" She shouted. I groaned, throwing the
blankets off my body. I slipped my black fuzzy slippers on, and walked downstairs.
"Morning." I moaned, sitting down. I grabbed a waffle, and some bacon.
"Sleep good?" My mother asked. I shrugged.
"I guess." I muttered. I didn't have school today, and had nothing to do.

Joe: Hey! I know you told me to call at 5pm, but I'm actually really busy then. I'm sorry.

I closed my phone, setting it beside me. I looked down, knowing my family was looking at
me.
"Sorry, geez." I muttered, eatting some food. This time, the family phone rang. My dad
answered it.
"Sorry, she's eatting... Okay, I guess." He said, handing me the phone. I smiled, accepting
the phone.
Alyssa: Hello?
Katie: Jello!
Alyssa: You nerd.
Katie: If I was a nerd, would I be taking you to the JONAS BROTHERS CONCERT?
Alyssa: Shut up!
Katie: So, you coming? Claire's coming too!
Alyssa: Totally. Tonight?
Katie: No, ten years from now. YES TONIGHT!
Alyssa: Okay, what time?
Katie: It starts at 5pm.
Alyssa: Okay, you're giving me a ride, right?
Katie: Yup! Be ready!

table. My father sighed. My mother shook her head. Arianna frowned. I closed my door, and
