Chapter 20
Arianna’s POV
I got into my car and raced down the road after the guys who were in the car ahead of me on the way to the club. I love clubbing but I don’t really like hanging out in strip joints like this though I have to say it’s a lot more tasteful than some I’ve been dragged in to. The only reason I was going tonight is because my sister Valeria told me that some girls are after Zacky and there is no way in hell they are getting close to him or I will let them know that my sister isn’t the only one that can kick ass without mercy.
I sighed as they came to a stop and I parked next to them and got out of the car, Zacky appearing at my side in a moment. Since he got back from that mission he’s been a lot more attentive and touchy, we had sex like 4 times last night and the night he got back, well I won’t go into detail, just let your imaginations run riot.
I grinned at Zacky and took his offered hand before we walked into the club with the rest of them.
As soon as we entered Brian veered off to go and watch Kat, as soon as he learned what happened to Val he had near enough ordered Kat not to go back but she had insisted on some independence and wanted to keep her job if only so that she could keep Val company while she did what she had to. Brian had then told her that he would watch her every move and anyone to lay a hand on her would suffer the worst pain imaginable, I believed him.
Zacky and I walked to a booth and sat down while Johnny went to go talk to one of the waitresses at the bar, probably buttering her up so he could take her home, while Jimmy went to go talk to Jeremy about what had been going on while we were away and Matt just kind of stared into space. Matt and my sister had just gotten together and she gets beaten up which has got to be hard because I can see how much he cares about my sister, heck I think he loves her! I actually feel for the dead guy because if he was alive he would be going through something worse than death at the hands of Matt.
Zacky nudged me lightly and then bent down to whisper
“you ok?” I nodded and whispered back
“yeah, I’m just wondering how Matt’s doing, he looks really down” Zacky glanced at Matt quickly and shrugged
“he’s just worried, he just got together with her and if something happened while he wasn’t there like the other night I don’t think he would fare to well” I nodded and leant into Zacky’s side.
A waitress materialized at our table with a note book in hand and a seductive smile on her face. She looked at Zacky with a gleam in her eye and I glared at her hoping she would melt under my gaze but she didn’t.
“what can I get you handsome?” she asked with a flutter of her lids and Zacky answered curtly
“a beer, which ever I don’t care” she frowned and I smirked in triumph but then she turned her gaze to Matt and leant close to him
“well then sugar how about you?” her boobs were basically in his face but he just didn’t react and said
“water, thanks, I’m driving” the blonde huffed and walked off back towards the bar. I grinned in satisfaction that they both didn’t do anything but especially Zacky as he is mine.
After about 2 hours I was getting bored of sitting there and doing nothing so I turned to Zacky and whispered
“I’m just going outside a minute” he nodded and I got up to head outside. Once out there I took a deep breath of the cool night air before letting it out before I just leant against the wall and thought about things. It wouldn’t surprise me if my sister lied about the girls trying to get to Zacky; I had done something similar to her in the past so this would be revenge. I grinned at the thought that even though Val was down she still managed to create mischief.
I eventually had had enough of the cool air so I headed back into the club but what I saw did not make me happy.
Zacky was sat there with a bimbo bitch dancing on him and he looked to be thoroughly enjoying it. Beside him Matt was staring at him and shaking his head, I could even see his lips moving in what I could only guess to be a warning about me that Zacky apparently wasn’t listening to.
I stormed over to them, not caring who got in my way and stood next to Matt silently as I caught the last part of his sentence
“-Ari will be pissed at you man”
“yes Ari fucking will be!” I growled and Zacky jumped in his seat making the whore fall to the ground with a glare. She promptly stood with her hands on her hips and gave me a miss attitude look
“excuse me but I was with him” I held up a hand, not even looking at her and said in a low dangerous tone
“you will back away bitch before I make sure you do” the girl folded her arms and raised a brow
“Oh yeah because you look so scary” I turned my glare to her and she visibly flinched before walking away. Once she was gone I looked at Zacky again and saw he was about to speak but I cut him off
“you Fill'e bagassa! I didn’t think that relationships rubbed off on you but your last one seems to have had an effect” he looked shocked at what I had told him and appalled as well. I didn’t care though as I turned on my heel and walked out of there, getting in my car and driving off in an unknown direction with tears leaking from my eyes.
I eventually ended up at an empty car park and when I had turned my engine off I laid my head on the steering wheel and cried.
I sobbed for a good 20 minutes relentlessly before I pulled out my cell and dialled the house number. After 6 rings it was picked up and I heard Val’s voice
“hello?” I broke down again and sobbed
“Val!”
“Ari? What’s the matter Sorella?” she asked with concern etched in every word, still crying I spoke brokenly
“Zacky-whore-lap dance-happy-BASTARD!” Val quickly made shushing noises and I heard her moving about
“it’s ok Ari, can you tell me where you are?” I sobbed again before I looked around and saw a notice
“I’m in the sovereign centre car park but Val don’t come get me, I’ll drive” Val quickly hushed me
“don’t be silly, I can drive perfectly well but driving in tears will do you no good so sit still while I come get you ok?”
“Don’t hang up Val! Please”
“shh, it’s ok I won’t hang up but I just need to get the phone in the blue tooth thing in the car alright so I can drive and talk at the same time” I quietly agreed and I heard some shuffling and some muttered swear words before I finally heard her clearly again
“you still there Ari?” she asked and I clutched the phone tighter
“yeah I am, Val I can’t believe he did it” she hushed me again and said
“wait until I’m there and you can tell me all the details ok but in the mean time do you have any music in your car, Three Days Grace maybe?” she knew I loved them and music calms me. A smile slid onto my face as I giggle a little
“of course I do, I’ll put it on now” I pressed play on my player and Animal I Have Become came out of the speakers and I could feel myself relaxing already.
Val carried on talking to me and calming down until I eventually saw her park next to me. I quickly ripped myself from my car and flew at her, not caring about her injuries right now and apparently she wasn’t either as she hugged me so tightly I was sure it was hurting her but we both held on
“ok honey tell me what happened so I can go beat him up” a laugh rippled through me and I pulled back and sat in my open door as she did the same in her car, still holding my hand
“well we went to the club and he was behaving really good, not paying attention to any of the girls, I was so happy he was focused on me but then I got bored and went outside for some air, then when I come back in he had a whore giving him a lap dance and he was looking way too happy about it so I stormed over there and even Matt was lecturing him” Val smiled lightly when I said Matt’s name and I carried on
“then I scared the girl before saying that he was becoming like his ex before walking out and driving here” Val pursed her lips slightly as she thought over all I had said. When she had processed she leant back against her seat, careful of her side, before she spoke
“Ari how many of your boyfriends have flirted and danced with other girls?” I hesitated then shrugged
“all of them?” I said and Val nodded
“how many of them did you have ago at and walk out on?” that didn’t need thought
“none of them”
“then why did you do it with Zacky? It was an innocent lap dance, she gets paid for it, it’s her job and Zacky is there to protect them, he needs to talk to the girls some times you know” I groaned and growled
“I know! I know that it’s his job and I know that it’s the girls jobs as well but I just couldn’t stand the thought of another girl on him” Val smiled at softly said

“you want me to admit that I love him, to him?” she nodded

“nothing’s a sure thing, follow your heart and the rest is history” I laughed
“never in our lives have you said the heart was more important than the brain” Val rolled her eyes
“yeah yeah it’s my advice for you numbskull now please go and see Zacky, he’s at home wallowing according to Matt” I raised a brow
“how would you know that?” she grinned
“he just text me and I can see it on my screen, now go back, I have to psych myself up for the drive home and the lecture from Matt about it” I laughed before reaching forward and hugging her lightly
“he cares, he’s the best guy you’ve ever dated that’s for sure” Val waved me off with a flippant
“That’s why I’m with him” she then closed her door and I did the same before starting the engine and driving back home with a wave to her.
