Valeria’s POV
I laughed as I led forward with my eyes closed by Matt who had little Alessa in the other hand cradling her to him. I laughed again as my foot hit the edge of a table and I fell into the wall. I heard Matt chuckle and I complained good naturedly
“When can I open my eyes? I might be killed before then!” Matt chuckled again and said
“only a few more meters honey and then we are there and you can look” I sighed but stood up straight and let him lead me forward again.
Moments later we stopped and Matt let go of my hand and I heard the sound of a door opening before he said
“right take 5 steps forward” I nodded and followed his directions taking those 5 steps then stopping where I stood. I heard him follow me then shut the door again before he was stood beside me with his free arm wrapped around our daughter and he said “open your eyes” I did so and gasped at the sight

I turned to Matt with tears in my eyes as I said
“it’s beautiful Matt!” Matt grinned and leaned down and kissed me chastely on the lips before he gave me Alessa and I grinned down at her before taking her very small hand in mine and cooing
“look what daddy did for you honey! It’s so pretty” she tried to open her little eyes but she wasn’t quite there so I was content to just tell her. I looked up at Matt again with love shining clearly in my eyes
“I love you” I whispered to him and he smiled softly and whispered back
“I love you more honey” I just grinned before I put Alessa down in the crib where she quickly fell asleep.
Turning back towards Matt I grinned and whispered as I walked towards him
“you know this deserves a reward” Matt grinned cheekily and said back
“really?” I nodded and when I reached him I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him lightly before pulling back a fraction of an inch and saying
“yeah but we need to go to our room if I’m to give it to you” Matt just grinned boyishly before he picked me up making me emit a small scream as he walked out the door and to our own room next door where I showed him how much I loved the room.
I got out of the shower later and grabbed my robe and slipped it on, when I went to grab some clothes I heard Alessa let out a cry from next door so I rushed in there and over to her crib where she stopped crying once I put my hand on her little chest and cooed
“what’s the matter little girl? Are you hungry?” Alessa raised an arm towards me and I picked her up with little effort and found the reclining chair Matt had put in here for me and sitting back I pulled my robe aside and let her latch on.
After feeding her I burped her and changed her diaper and she fell straight back asleep. Grinning I got up and went back to my room where I put on some clothes before heading downstairs where I got myself some food. As I sat in the kitchen Ari came in and smiled
“so how is it actually having the kid now?” I grinned widely and gushed
“she is so beautiful Ari and I love her more than anything in the world and I would risk my life for her no matter what and she has become the centre of my world” Ari laughed and rubbed her own still flat stomach. I grinned at her and asked “so how’s it going with you?” Ari grimaced and I laughed as she huffed and said
“this is not fun Val! I throw up and crave weird things and I swear at the moment Zacky’s voice annoys me!” I laughed and patted her hand
“it will be fine honey, it goes away” Ari sighed and consented
“yeah if this one turns out like your little Alessa then I will be happy, she is just so cute” I laughed and was about to reply when the doorbell rang and I heard a loud wail ring out through the house as well, I sighed and went to get up to head upstairs but Ari stopped me and said
“I’ll get Alessa, I need the practice anyway, can you see who’s at the door?” I nodded and we both walked out and she headed up the stairs as I reached the door.
Opening the door I looked out to see a very slim brunette stood there with a scowl on her face as she looked at me. I cocked an eyebrow and asked with a slight attitude
“what?” the girls eyes narrowed as she asked
“is Zacky there?” I pursed my lips debating whether to tell her he wasn’t but called out
“Zacky!” into the house and moments later he appeared at the door and asked
“what’s up?” I opened the door wider and he looked out to see who was there. When he saw her his eyes widened before his brows drew together and he asked
“what in the hell are you doing here?” I looked at the girl and saw her face immediately change to a seductive look as she said innocently
“I want you back baby!” I rolled my eyes and Zacky sighed
“I don’t want you back so leave” she huffed and actually stamped her foot as she said
“why not?” Zacky crossed his arms and said
“I have a wife now” he then showed her his ring and the girls features slipped into furious as she screeched
“who would marry you?! You’re a hired killer, no one would have you but me” Zacky had a flash of hurt cross his face before he shook his head and said
“obviously that’s wrong because I’m married now tell me what you want because it’s not to get back together with me” the girl glared at us as she said
“I need money and don’t say you have none I mean look at this place” I glared at her then and said
“you’re not getting anything from us you bed hopping whore now fuck off and leave us” the girl glared back and said snippily
“oh and I guess you are the wife?” I snorted and replied
“no I’m the wife’s sister, a sister who is also a hired killer and believe me if you don’t fuck off of my property I will make sure you are next on my list” the girls eyes widened in fear before they flickered to behind me and I turned to see Ari stood there with Alessa in her arms. She stepped up next to Zacky and taking his hand she said
“what is she doing here honey?” Zacky looked at her with love in his eyes as he said
“she’s after money Ari but don’t worry she was just leaving empty handed” the girl had this look in her eyes as she said
“I’ll get my money Zacky” before she turned and walked away, I didn’t like the look in her eyes and I turned to Ari and took Alessa from her arms. Ari said
“oh I changed her diaper and she stopped so I think that’s it” I nodded and walked off silently to find Matt.

“hey there baby girl did you miss daddy? I missed you!” I giggled as I saw and he grinned back before patting his lap and I gladly placed myself there leaning back into him as he held our daughter in the other arm.
I let him coo to her for a while before asking
“what do you know of Zacky’s ex?” Matt looked at me confused before he asked
“is that who was at the door?” I nodded and he shrugged
“I don’t really know much about her other than she has a rich taste and likes to cheat, we didn’t really interact why?” I shifted slightly and he wrapped his free arm around me. I placed my finger in Alessa’s hand as I spoke
“she came asking for money and she was going when Ari came down with Alessa and I don’t know there was this look in her eye that just told me she is going to do something” Matt sighed and rubbed a hand up and down my side as he said
