Give Me Vengeance

I was woken up by a sudden shaking of my truck and my eyes flew open, sitting up straight. I looked at Max who was busy trying to keep control of the
truck, gripping onto the wheel tightly and turning it to the best of his abilities. He was slamming on the brakes at the same time, and I found myself gripping
onto the door handle and dashboard for dear life. He finally got the truck to stop, the only problem being that he stopped us in the middle of a road with
no way to move it. We sat in there for awhile, both of us breathing hard, and I looked at him when I was some what calmed down.

"What the hell happened back there?"

"I ran something over and we got a flat"

I groaned. "Damnit Max. We're in the middle of no where in the early hours of the morning with no cell phone service"

"I'm sorry Kay. It was dark and I couldn't see the things I ran over. I still don't know what it is"

"Are you sure it wans't a living thing?"

"If it was, it's not breathing any more"

"You are such a jerk"

"I know"

We sat in silence, and I was debating whether or not we should get out and start walking or wait for someone to find us. I realized the latter wouldn't
be the smartest idea, seeing as how we were in a black truck with tinted windows and no lights on.

"Come on"

Max looked at me. "Where?"

"Well we can't sit in the middle of the road like this"

"Yeah, because all the cars coming are putting us in such danger" he snorted and I glared at him.

"If my truck gets destoyed, I will have you killed.

"Love you to" he grumbled, opening the door and climbing out. I reveled in the warmth for a second longer and then climbed out, joining him at the
side of the road. Neither of us said anything and I was looking for any headlights or some form of life. Max was spacing out, looking up at the stars and
had a look of deep thought on his face. Finally, I couldn't take the silence anymore.

"What are you thinking about?"

"You and Zack...and how wrong I was to judge him"

I looked at him, shocked. "What brought this on?"

"Well, I was thinking about all the relationships I've been in and how many of them failed because I screwed up. I realized that what he did was nothing
compared to some of the things that I've done and how wrong I was to judge his for it. You love him and you trust him, and that should be good enough
for me"

"Wow. I'm in shock"

"I know. Me to"

I caught a glimpse of light out of the corner of my eye and whirled around. I almost screamed with joy when I saw it was a pair of headlights and I turned Max
so he could see. He looked cautious and that was just as well. One of us needed to be cautious, and it wasn't going to be me. The car slowed when the driver saw me
waving like a maniac and stopped beside us. The window rolled down and I strained to see inside. A girl was driving and she grinned when she saw us.

"Car trouble?"

I rolled my eyes. "Yeah"

Max walked over and stopped when he saw her, and I rekognized the look of intrest in his eyes. "Hey" he said casually and I shook my head saddly.

She smiled when she saw him. "Hi. Do you guys need a ride?"

Without even asking me, Max rushed in with the answer. "Please"

I looked at him and realized that I was going to have to be the reasonable one again. Damnit. "Well, what direction are you going?"

"Anywhere. I'm sort of...wandering right now. I want a new adventure"

"Good, then its settled" Max said before I could say anything else, and he jogged to the front passenger side. Asshole. I climbed into the backseat and she turned the light on,
giving me not only a chance to see my seatbelt, but also a chance to see her fully. She had blond hair with pink chunks in it, beautiful blue eyes, a septum piercing, snake bites, and
I saw the beggining of a tattoo. All in all, she was actually quite stunning.

"I'm Luxie, by the way" she turned and smiled at me.

"I'm Kaydence and that up front is Max"

"Nice to meet both of you. So, where do I need to take you?"

"Huntington Beach"

"Right on" she grinned, and I had a feeling we were going to get along just fine. I was proved right as the car drive went on. Luxie was really funny, and she wasn't afraid to tell Max to shuch when he
was getting too out of line. As we drove into Huntington, we saw the sun rise over the ocean, making the water glow with gorgeous colors. Luxie pulled over and got out, her eyes wide with wonder,
and I went to stand beside her.

"It's beautiful"

"Its one of my favorite things about living here" I agreed.

"So, how long have you lived here?"

"My entire life. I coudn't imagine living anywhere else"

She smiled and we looked at the ocean for awhile lomger. Max eventually came out and joined us, standing extremly close to Luxie, making me roll my eyes. Something he tried way to hard. I finally
looked at them. "We should probably get going guys"

Luxie smiled. "Sure"

We all got back in the car and I gave Luxie directions to Zack's house. When we got there it struck me that she had no place to stay.

"Luxie, would you like to stay with us for awhile? I mean, its the least I could do to repay you for the ride"

"Are you sure?"

"Absolutley. Come on in and meet the guys. Just a warning though, they are kind of wild and a little out of control"

She grinned. "I'm sure I can take it"

I smiled back. "Don't say I didn't warn you"

"Dont worry about me"

I knocked once and walked in, laughing when I saw the guys passed out all over the place. Luxie smirked when she saw them and her eyes lit up. She turned and looked at Max and I. "Is there whipped
cream?"

"I think so. Follow me" she followed me into the kitchen and I opened up the fridge, looking for the whipped cream. She joined me and grabbed the cherries, chocolate sauce, and finally the whipped cream.
I looked at her. "What are you planning?"

"You'll see. Come on"

She handed me the cherries and I followed her back into the living room where Max was looking at the guys. Luxie handed him the chocolate sauce, and then began pouring whipped cream on the guy's
eyes and mouths. She motioned for me to hand her the cherries and I did so more than willingly. I loved the way she thought. She then placed cherries on top of their whipped creamed eyes and then poured choolate sauce
on their mouths. When she was done she studied her art.

"Wha-la. Hot guy sundays" she grinned like a maniac.

"Luxie, you are my new best friend" I said, taking out my phone and getting a picture.

"Now we wake them up"
