Out of the World She's Grown So Fearful Of
Eight.
"Just come with meeeeeee." Kyle pulled Kennedy close.
"Babe, I'll be fine. You go have fun with all the other guys on tour. If I need anything, I'll have Stephanie."
"I don't know. It just doesn't seem right leaving you here." Kyle bent down to pick up his bags.
"Kyle, I know the only reason you want me to go with you is because you're worried about Ronnie. But you know he's in jail for pulling a gun out on some fight. His mom told me he's in for six months."
"Kennedy, it's not just that. I'm going to miss waking up to your face every morning." Kyle kissed her on the lips.
Kennedy smiled in the kiss. She wanted to go, she really did. But then again, she didn't want to be stuck on a tour bus everyday with so many guys. And she'd be the only girl anyways. That'd suck. It'd be better if you'd have more girls. I mean, boys are nasty sometimes.
"Kyle, I'm staying." Kennedy pulled away from the kiss.
Kyle sighed.
"You don't need to worry." She poked him in the nose.
He smiled. "Okaaaaaay. But if something goes wrong or anything, I'll make my way off that bus and find a way home somehow to you."
Kennedy laughed. "I love you."

After a week of Kyle being gone on tour, Kennedy never thought she could miss someone so much.
Sure, they talked to eachother at least seven times a day, but it just wasn't the same without seeing eachothers faces.
She had nothing to do. Most of the time when she was at home, all she would do is clean and clean. And whenever something was already clean she'd just clean it again. Yeah, that's how bored she was, that she cleaned.
There were a couple of times when Kennedy, Stephanie, and Morgan [Kyle's sister] went out shopping and stuff. But other than that, life was boring without Kyle there with her. I guess that just shows how much she loves him. And how close they are to eachother.
Kennedy stood at the kitchen table, folding clothes. Most of them were hers. Since Kyle probably took half of his to tour with him.
She had a special way of folding clothes. Everyone thought it was weird, but she took after her mom.
After she was done folding everything, she picked up her clothes pile, and the baskit and walked down the hallway.
She opened the basement door, and threw the laundry baskit down the steps, then made her way to her bedroom.
After she put her clothes away, she heard her cellphone ring. It scared her half to death, actually. Since it was so quiet in the house.
She walked back down the hallway, and found her cellphone spinning in circles on the kitchen table.
'Dena' read the caller ID. Ronnies mother.
Why is she calling?
Kennedy thought to herself. She decided to answer the phone anyways.
"Hello?"
"Hi, dear. This is Dena. How are you?"
"Uhm, Hi. I'm good, and you?"
"Oh, I could be better." she laughed softly. "But anyways, I'm calling about Ronald, sweety, his friend bailed him out of jail last night." she cleared her throat. "I just,, I just thought I'd let you know."
Kennedy heart felt like it stopped. Why is this happening? When Kyle isn't here?
"Oh....." Kennedy said quietly.
"Are you okay, dear?"
"Uhm. Yeah, I'm fine."
"Okay, good. Well, take care darling." Dena hung up on the other line.
Kennedy closed her cellphone, and dropped it on the table.
She felt tears run down her face.
She felt like she was going to be sick, she couldn't stay here alone. Not tonight. Not when she's just found out Ronnie is out of jail, and could be coming after her, when she's alone.
She quickly picked up her cellphone and called Stephanie.
She'll be staying there for the night. Or as long as she needs to.
