Is It Still Me That Makes You Sweat?

He hesitated for a moment, then said,
"Well, um, what did you think about it?" Brendon asked me.

I bit my lip and said,
"Don't get me wrong, Brendon. I like you and all. It's just, I don't know you well enough."

"Oh, yeah, I guess you're right." He responded dissapointedly.

"We just need to get to know eachother more." I said.

"Yeah. Well, bye." He waved then walked out the door.

I took a long deep breath before getting up to grab my phone.
I typed in Chloé's number.

"Ello." Chloé answered.

"Brendon asked me about yesturday. And I--"

"OH MY GOD! What did you say?" Chloé asked.

"I said that we don't really know eachother well." I told her.

"Ooh. Coolies. Did you realize that this is the last week before Christmas break?!" She asked.

"Really? I forgot. haha." I chortled.

"What are we going to do?" She asked.

"Let the plans come to us." I instructed.

"Kay. Buhbye." Chloé said and hung up.

-Next Day At School-

"Did Brendon ask you?" Ryan asked me.

"Ask me what?" I asked perplexed.

"Oh, we have big plans." Ryan smirked.

"What plans?" I stammered.

"Nothing, let Brendon tell you." He grinned.

I got impatient, I wanted to know what the plans were.

-Lunch-

"They have big plans and they won't tell me! Hmph. Do you know anything about this?" I pouted, crossing my arms over my chest.

"No one told me. No one tells me anything anymore!" Chloé cried.

"Sucks to be you." I stuck out my tongue.

"Have you heard what we're doing for Christmas break?" Jade asked us as she sat down with her tray.

"'We'?" I asked.

"Yes. Me, you, Chloé, Ryan, Brendon, Spencer, and Jon." Jade replied.

"I dunno." I said dully.

Right then the rest of the group came and sat beside us.
"Brendon, what are we doing for Christmas?" I asked Brendon.

"Whatevuh you want to do." He said, wiggling his eyebrows.
Everyone gave silent laughs.

"Noo..Ryan told me that you're supposed to tell me something. Like what all of us are doing for Christmas break." I said, not laughing at his joke.

"Oh that. We're thinking about staying in LA for Christmas break. We want to go to Disney Land, Six Flags, California Adventure, and do some other stuff." Brendon responded.

"What about money?" I asked.

"We'll use whatever we have saved up. I guess. I have some coupons." He grinned.

"What do you think?" I whispered to Chloé.

"We have to go!" She whispered back.

"But what about Jade, she's coming." I told her.

"Psht, who cares? Ignore her." Chloé replied.

"Eh, fine." I answered.

"So, what do you say?" Brendon asked me.

I thought about it for a moment. It would be fun, and I have nothing else to do over the break anyways.

"I say...ROAD TRIP!" I answered excitedly.
