That Summer

Evangeline Donahue is a beautiful dancer living in Boston. She's convinced she's going somewhere big in the world of ballet, and she is. Her talent is enormous and her life is utterly perfect - unlike her brother Bryan who, in her eyes, threw away his life to play bass in a band.

Paul DiGiovanni is a guitarist in a band with his three best friends; Martin Johnson, John Keefe and Bryan Donahue. He's a smart kid, but he makes the mistake of falling hopelessly in love with the most unattainable girl (even to seemingly irresistible lead singer Martin); Bryan's gorgeous sister. And it's a shame that Evangeline hates not only Paul, but everything he and his band associates with and stands for.

But when an ostensibly inconsequential accident sends Evangeline's flawless life into an unexpected downward spiral, she'll find herself needing help whether she wants it or not. And that summer, Paul will be there to catch her fall.
