The Big Decision Part One

Lia's POV

So we're sitting in Red Rose café when Aaron asks if me and Toff want a job there. Boy didn't look impressed.
I found myself thinking hard about the question that I had just been asked. Mid thought I suddenly heard Toff shout hyperly "yeysyeyeyeyeyeysyeyeyeysyryey."
In translation that mean yes... at least that's what I think it means...I'm sure that is what it means but don't quote me on it okay?
Toff jumped up out of her seat and hugged Aaron.
"When do you I start?" She said as she squeezed Aaron so tight he started going red.
Aaron squealed so Toff let him go.
"Thank You" He said trying to catch his breath.
"It would be great if you can start tomorrow." Aaron smiled at Toff who had just sat back down next to me.
"I'd love to! Better be off then see you tomorrow" Toff stood up and looked at me.
"Are you coming?" She questioned, grabbing my hand and pulling me so I almost fell off the chair.
I stood up so I wouldn't fall flat on my face... again. This had happened once before, well more then once if I'm honest. Toff has an annoying habit of grabbing my hand and pulling me off things. First a chair, then a table and even off the kitchen unit. So now I know when she grabs my hand it's time to get up.
We left the Café and walked to the bus stop. The bus was late as always. We got on the bus Toff still gleaming with joy at her new job with, in her words ‘The hottest, most cutest, best looking guy I have ever met!’ I knew that I wasn’t going to get anything out of her so I sat in silence until we approached Toff’s stop. She got up still gleaming; I didn’t even know people could look so happy for so long it was creepy. As she walked down the bus she turned back and shouted “See you at work tomorrow!” I hadn’t even decided if I was going to accept the job offer and she had already assumed that I was.
I reached my stop and hopped off the bus. Walking, I decided to stop and stare at this old house. I always looked at it in hope that someone would move in and decorate it, that or someone would knock it down. It made the street look horrible. ‘Oh well’ I thought ‘At least it’s not my street.’ I turned the corner to my house, opened the door and walked in, carefully closing it behind me.
