Day At The Park
Great Suprise
Today’s Wednesday. I’m sitting in class looking out of the window as usual. Mr Joel is teaching science today coz Mr Numan is supposedly off “sick”, but we all no he’s having some troubles at home. Every day he came tired out and stressed and that wasn’t like him. He was quite a laid back teacher who didn’t mind if we questioned him or anything like that. Mr Joel is ok but we don’t learn anything from him. Everyone’s making fun of him, throwing stuff at him at he’s just standing there like its ok. Any other teacher would have put us all in a week’s detention by now. Just so long as no 1 throws anything at me, I'm not really that bothered. Besides I’m too excited about my date with Ryan. After skool me and some of my mates go shopping for some new clothes, and my mate Jenny is getting her first piercing done on her lip. I’ve just got one piercing on my tongue but that’s about it. If my mum or dad found out they would kill me!
After jenny had her piercing done she said it didn’t even hurt her one bit. She’s the kind of person where nothing scares her. Spider, snakes, the dark, I can’t think of anything. Once we’d finished shopping we sit down in Mc Donald’s to look at what everyone’s bought. I didn’t buy much just a few t-shirts and jeans. Same as everyone else but they bought sweets, trainers, music stuff I already have. I have quite a lot of junk at home. It’s all from my parent’s coz I think they feel a bit guilty for not spending enough time with me.
I’m standing in the queue of people trying to remember everyone’s order. Kara comes over to see what’s taking so long. I tell her if, “I could make all these lines disappear I would”. She decides to stand with me to help me carry the food over to our table. Just as I sit down I feel someone standing behind me. I turn round, and to my surprise see Ryan there smiling. “Hey Jasmine.” I feel my face going bright red as everyone was looking at me. Kara new I was all embarrassed so she introduced her self to him. “Hi, I’m Kara. Are u one of Jasmine’s mates?”
Just before he could answer I pull Kara away and say, “Kara we forgot to get some ketchups” whilst giving her a come with me right now look. I can see her smirking. “You didn’t tell me u had a boy friend. And there was me thinking u were a shy, preserved girl.” “I’m not that shy, and any way he’s not my bf yet” I say trying to hide my embarrassment. “Oh, so u do like him then?” I pause for a second and say “yes I do but u don’t have to make it so obvious. “I’m obvious? I’m not the one turning bright red. Just relax.”
As we walk over to the table my mates had invited him to sit down. “I hope u haven't forgotten our date tomorrow”, said Ryan. “No I haven't. Y would I have. I’m not that forgetful.”
One of my other mates Nicole then said “omg u can’t b going out with him tomorrow. Its ur birthday and we’ve planed u a surprise party.” “Oh great. Now it’s not going to be a surprise is it?” says Kara. Nicole's now all pissed coz I made plans on my birthday and Kara’s angry coz Nicole told me I was having a surprise birthday tomorrow. All of a sudden Ryan starts apologising saying, “oh I’m really sorry. I didn’t know it was your birthday”.
Only a few seconds after he apologises a verbal fight brakes out between my mates. I can’t take it. I hate fights. I’ve been through enough fights to last me a life time. I decide to just walk off and I don’t think any one even notices I’ve gone. They just carry on fighting. It’s so stupid coz there fighting over the most stupidest thing.
