Savior

Kemper's son, Ezekiel, falls ill with a terrible blood disorder and needs a bone marrow transplant to save his life. She gets quite a shock when the Doctor asks who the real father is. Her only hope to save him is the toddler's biological father, who she now knows is Matthew Sanders.
Matt is battling a fierce depression from his fiance, Val, who had just up and left him. The man has wanted nothing more in his past 5 years of life to settle down and have a family. Finally figuring out he has the second half of what he wanted, Matt and Kemper want to make their relationship work out despite their distance between them. Him being from Huntington Beach, California and Kemper and Zeke being across the continent in Pymatuning, Ohio.
