- The Way:
- I think it depends on whether what they believe is factually and/or morally wrong.
If someone believes that the earth is flat - well, um, LOL - or that gay people are inferior to everyone else, I will not hesitate to call them out on their homophobia.
I think it all just depends on how you treat people who believe in something entirely different from you. I can accept that someone believes that homosexuality is wrong, however I won't accept that person treating gay people badly just because he or she doesn't agree with it. I can discuss with someone who believes that the Earth is flat without making them feel as if I'm attacking their belief. I won't say that they're wrong, because what they believe is right to them. However since there's facts that the Earth is in fact round, I'd try to present them in a way that makes the person question him/herself and whether his/her belief is actually right.
That's what I meant by making people feel bad 'cause of what they believe and that goes for any belief.
Since I'm pretty off topic now, I'm gonna add resistance to my overrated list.
