My aunt ordered this book after seeing it on Oprah's book club. And after reading it she forced me and my cousin to read it. And I am so glad she did.
This book is amazing, a little hard to read at times, but overall it is such an amazing, amazing book.

The scariest part is, Elie Wiesel had a relatively good Holocaust experience, compared to others. Buna was one of the better camps, especially compared to places like Bergen-Belsen. And still, Elie's experiences are horrific.

The Holocaust is the worst thing that has every happen in human history.

"The human thing to do, back then, was to be inhuman." -Elie Wiesel

Elie is my hero. And Night is my favorite book. I clung to every one of the words in the book.

My class just finished reading Night about a month ago, and I loved the book so much that I actually went to the library and rented Dawn, another book by Elie Wiesel. I loved that book, too, and I'm searching for other books that he's written so I can read them. =]

We read Night last year in 8th grade English, both the most recent and older English translations. It was such a touching book. It breaks my heart every time I reread it.

I love the book 'Night' that he wrote. I had to read it for English in 10th grade. I'd love to read his other books; I just haven't gotten around to it yet.

I am surprised that you did not mention his involvement in the Madoff scheme and all the money stolen from him.

I admire him immensely. I have read the majority of his written work and he has a wonderful way with words.

Decent article, easy to read. Thank you.

I absolutely love Night and Elie Wiesel. Wasn't he also shot in the 80s or 90s by someone who insisted that the holocaust never happened? Poor guy- as if he didn't go through enough...

We read Night a few months ago and it was really nicely written. I felt so horrible for him though. :( At least he lived a long life!

I read Night in the eighth grade and that year we went to Washington DC. One of our stops was the Holocaust museum. It was hard to see all those shoes from the prisoners. Night was amazing and it was one of my favorite books that the school made us read.

I just read Night last week. Absolutely incredible.
A truly inspiring piece of literature, and an inspiring man, as well.
