Holy moly, that's horrible. Reading this article gave me the chills and it was written quite well, very informative even. It's sad how many people died at the hands of this man. It's really eerie how I just watched a youtube documentary on this man not that long ago. Well done, Colibri.

This is an absolutely amazing article. I enjoyed it immensely.
The way it was written and the history and the references involved and the names of his known victims.
All of it was bone chilling and great. :)

"I liked the sound of a skull splitting."

    Chilling, dreadful statement.

Loved the article...very well composed :)

This was fantastically written. I've never been particularly interested in serial killers until I started studying Law, mostly because I like the prosecution process. This article was so informative and perfectly objective, and the amount of research done was obvious in the quality of the article. Wonderfully done; a disturbing yet intriguing read.

Authors note: The article has been edited for one factual error and a few structural errors. The factual error in question having been attributing an interview to that of Yasha Levine. Upon checking facts I realized Yasha Levine wrote an article that included re-prints of a few sections of an interview the Russian tabloid Tvoi Den did with Pichushkin. Again, Yasha Levine did not interview Alexander Pichushkin. The structural errors were found upon closer inspection of the article, and were nothing too serious. I apologize for my errors. They have been fixed.

Thank you to everyone for commenting. I really appreciate the feedback.

Serial killers are interesting to a lot of people, I guess Smile. A few years ago, a good friend of mine brought over a book that talked about all the documented serial killers in the world. She didn't mention this guy, though. Interesting article!

I am completely obsessed with serial killers. Honestly I don't know why. This was very well written and interesting. I've only ever fleetingly looked into Pichushkin and only because of my obsession with Andrei Chikatilo, who I am particularly into because of photographs that were found of him and my grandfather (crazy shit, right?). But thank you for this - It was very interesting! I'll be doing some more reading up on him now for sure.

It's evident that you put a whole ton of research into this article, which is fab. Even without it, serial killers are (weirdly enough) one of the topics that I find ridiculously interesting, so this was a really fantastic article to read. It isn't something that you see every day on here, and I'm really glad you posted it. It's well written, fabulous and ridiculously interesting. Well done Mr. Green

Great article, I found myself engaged the entire time! Is it weird that I found myself smiling at his quotes? I've found that murderers are often the wittiest people ever. Anyway, you've obviously done your research and seeing as the man was Russian, this does not surprise me from you In Love

Seriously, fantastic and intruiging article. I have to say he has just been added to my list of top 10 serial killers!

Oh my god. This was crazy to read, but also very intriguing. It was very well written, and when I read about his grandfather's death, I couldn't help but go "oh," and feel so sad for him. I don't feel sympathy for what he's done, but I feel sympathy for why he did it, if that makes sense.

I also don't feel like his murders were only associated with the frontal lobe. His lack of regret and and the coldness of it...it was reminiscent of a psychopath. Either way, this was a very good article, and the quote you chose as the description was perfect. I immediately wanted to read it. Very well done! :)
