The topic of your story is not only about birds falling from the sky but also dead fish that are found near Arkansas; so not only is it about one thing but two which you are speaking of that are bizarre. Hence, the title of your essay should not only be about the birds but about the fish as well. Yet, when I was scrolling through the page of the Bizarre portion, I was very interested in your's immediately. It was an informative essay as well.

Insane man who would have thought that something like that would happen.
I mean could you just imagine seeing it a flock of birds just falling out of the sky.

    Yeeeeeah, about that....

Sorry folks, it's just that I've been building some nuclear reactors lately and I thought Arkansas would be a good place to test them. So, no, not the end of the world - just my bad planning. Once again, I apologize.

Something similar happened with birds the other day here in Louisiana. But it wasn't just a single species but quite a variety (including the black bird if I'm not mistaken) all around the same area. Around 500 dead birds, at least.

I already know what's about to happen. scientist will come out with some outrageous theory; something along the lines of "oh this is just a normal pattern" NO. I'm quite convinced the world is ending. I would have brush it off as nothing but the minute they said this, I was scared shitless. I honestly can't believe this is happening. My stomach has dropped about 5 times. Sounds like some "Flash Forward" shit. That really only leaves one question.
    What's coming next?

I've been posting this on everyone's wall on facebook. We watch the film in my colour theory class at uni and for some terrible reason, we were giggling the whole time...it's quite tragic though :/

That's really odd that animals would just drop like that. It is odd how it affects only one species, such as the blackbird and drum fish. I can't wait to find out what the cause of death in these animals is. I agree with sunsetwing, there will probably be a lot of interesting theories as to how these animals died.

That's interesting...and slightly creepy. Yeah, I don't see how it can be because of fireworks when they're a world wide event. And blackbirds aren't exactly rare, so you'd expect it to happen elsewhere too.
On a brighter note, I'm sure some really amusing conspiracy theories will spring from this xD

Lovely article; very nicely written in a cohesive and organized fashion, with no discernible technical mistakes :)
