I never used to log in as much, but now find myself hooked. Checking new profile comments, reading stories, going on Chat... but it doesn't control my life.

However, if "Mibbians" lost three days, does that mean we're all computer geeks? Or is Mibba turning into the equivalent of MySpace, for a wider age range? And that by being a Mibbian, we're losing any social interaction we have outside the world of the World Wide Web?

Honestly, I wasn't even around for the crash. My opinion on it is that if people were so devastated over the crash of a website, it's really a sign that there's something wrong with our times.

I'm not trying to be rude to anyone, but if you were one of the people devastated over the crash of a site, I'd suggest going out, talking to some people, and seeing what the real world has to offer. It would be a really horrible thing to spend the rest of your life living in a fantasy world on the internet.

    Well, I don't think you're stupid. :)
I don't think I could go three days without an update.
    But apparently I did.

    Shocking.

If mibba is your life there's something wrong with you. It's not a disaster or some massive terrorist plot, it's a writing side that crashed for a little while. Stop being so dramatic, you sound ridiculous.

HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAH, i totally just got an image of you as a forty year old virgin in your mother's basement by posting this article, which is completely mean, but funny at the same time. Do you realize that this is basically telling everyone who has read it that you have no life? and that you had to write an article about something that happens all the time?
It is kind of sad that you made an article about losing three days time of contact between people who probably live miles and miles away from you, who have lives, and probably other things to do.
That was pathetic, but I applaud you for such a balsy move. Bravo.

    Well,

Sorry to say this, but if you cannot live outside internet, you will get nowhere in life. Internet is really good, even I have to say, but too much can really get you addicted and getting off it requires a lot of willpower, which I hardly know anybody who does around here. If you do not have a social life, how will you build your communication skills? How will you get a job (instead of getting a job involving internet)? You can live 3 days without Mibba, GSB, or INO. By the way, in case you haven't noticed, if Mibba falls for more than one day, it ALWAYS skyrockets with articals, news, story updates, and such. It's like kinking a waterhose then unkinking it after several minutes. Imagine the water as the stories, etc. When it stops, it builds, then blasts out (which is really fun).

Basically what I am saying is, too much internet can really screw up your life. You need time away. Instead of writing in Mibba, take a notebook places and write in there. Wait a week and start posting your stuff. Get a hobby while you are at it. Playing an instrument is my thing. Guitar, saxophone, piano, bass guitar, flute. It's all pretty fun.

    To Mibba,
    Saixx

I remember my friend, she had a Mibba account while I still had a Quizilla one. She was like, "I want you to read one of my stories" so she logged onto her account, and was like, "What the hell?!" The article was well written, and I'm glad Dujo fixed whatever needed to be fixed.

My friend read this article too, she said she didn't think anyone would remember it!

No, we didn't have the news/articles/reviews section back then.
Dujo added it at the beginning of September 2007, I think.
