I have had an account since 2003 on Quizilla, and posted many stories on there. However, when the site changed, I was extremely disappointed and my inspiration to update and add more went down the drain. A friend of mine on the site was the one who recommended Mibba, so I went to check it out. At first it was a little confusing figuring out how to work everything, and eventually I grew to love it and is the only site I post stories on now.

I too, wasn't affected by the deletion process, and still have everything I have ever posted on there, but I never check it anymore really because I've decided I'm done with that site. Being 21, you lose the excitement of reading cheesy stories, and are not impressed with ones--which are most of them--that are not well written. Coming to Mibba, I've found I'm able to read more stories that are more mature and very well written, and I'm able to be that same kind of writer. Quizilla never allowed anyone to write about abuse, sexual abuse, or sex period or anything related. Here, people are able to express themselves freely and even though they are just stories, there are people in the world who deal with these things on a day-to-day basis. It's nice to be able to read something like this, to be able to understand what most of us have never experienced, to be able to sympathize.

Mibba, to me, is the best site to find a good read.
Quizilla was the first site I've ever been on to write my stories and share them with the public, but I hate to say that my loyalty is no longer to them. It lies with Mibba, who has a greater future with readers and writers on the internet!

Bye Bye Quizilla. You'll be missed, but not as much as you would have if I had done this years ago!

I still use Quizilla religiously, all though I've come to like Mibba better.

It breaks my heart to see my original writing home go down hill :(
I haven't been on there since whole mtv thing happened. Although Quizilla is famous fot their cheesey stories, and cliche plots, it still has a place in my heart.
I found Mibba by reading a fanfic on quizilla. The author moved to Mibba and posted the other chapters on here :P

I'm with alphadisaster. Though I appreciate the links shared in this article, I've just started adjusting to Mibba. And I like it. But I'm semi-successful on Quizilla and it's hard to let that go.

I've been on there for years and I haven't lost a single thing yet. The "mass deletetion" hasn't hit me or my friends. I'm kind of happy with both sites I post on. I mean I have been on Quizilla's top rated list for 20 months. I don't want to give that up. Though, I have to say I miss Quizilla from 2005. It was PERFECT! Then is changed and I hated it and came to Mibba after a few years. So I am loyal to Quizilla and Im willing to see what happens

It's kind of funny seeing as how a friend of mine in my writer's craft course told me about this site just today when I said that I was a memeber of Quizilla. May Penny rest in peace but the site is a relic and needs some serious guidelines if it's ever going to be the way it used to. Until then, bon soir Quizilla, and Hello Mibba :)

Hmm, no. The old Quizilla will always have a place in my heart.

But, Mibba is my home and I love it.

I was one of the lucky ones that their work didn't get deleted. All of my work from my two accounts are still there, but I feel like I've outgrown Quizilla, and since the new version it has been hard to be creative. With the layouts gone, I think a lot of people were disappointed, I sure was.

It really tugs my heart the difficulty Quizilla is going through because it's where I first started and where I met great people :(

Quizilla is what inspired me to write, to be honest.
It inspired me to be myself through characters, to role play and to read... If I never discovered Quizilla I don't even know if I'd be here.

That almost makes me cry, seeing as,
like a lot of people who've commented on this,
I first started writing on quizilla.
It used to be an awesome way to get your shit out before I met mibba.
And you never felt bad if your shit sucked.
Sad to see it go downhill so bad.

I'm a Quizillian as well as a Mibba user. I still post on Quizilla, but I use Mibba as a backup account, just in case QZ decides to pull some more s**t and we get MTV-gate part two.

That's a shame, really. Quizilla is where I first started writing, and I would probably still be there if a friend of mine would have never mentioned Mibba to me. Don't get me wrong, I love Mibba. The variations of stories and writing styles have helped me to improve my writing immensely over the last few years. But at the same time, it kind of tugs at my heart to see that Quizilla is going down, and rather ungracefully too.

Then again, I'm glad I left when I did...

I remember I was on Quizilla one day and I saw a story. I liked it but the next few chpters were posted on a diffrent site. (Guess which one? ;) ) I had to become a member, so I did and finished the story. I decided to roam around the site a bit and I fell in love with Mibba. So Quizilla actually helped me leave their site and find my new story home. :)

I remember when I first got into Quizilla. It was freaking fantastic. I read my first story there, back when I wasn't even old enough to be a member :)

Then they changed a bunch of shit around... That's when I left. It's a shame too, because some of my favorite stories on their were ruined by the weird font thing and everything just got fucked around with.

And a bunch of my favorite authors and friends left. I'm so glad I came here. The people are nicer and the site it just all around better. I hope it never changes :D
