Nicely written article -- well organized.

Although I'm certain HP will lose steam, I don't think it is a "fad" per se that will somehow come to and end. I think there are too many loyal fans out there; as a NYT best-seller, the series will continue to be read even after movies cease to be released.

This is a great article!
And so true... I've grown up with Harry Potter. I'll never forget the excitement in my entire house when the next book would come out, and we'd all gather in the living room and my mom would read it aloud! And sometimes she couldn't, when she was crying too hard, and that series, both movies and books, holds so many memories. It was a wonderful series, and it was so hard to see it end....
But with these last two movies... I'm so excited to see them! XD I'm SO glad they decided on splitting the last book, because it just wouldn't have been good quality if they had to squeeze it all into one movie... IT'S ALMOST HERE!!!!!!! XD

Jessie Lucas yeah, two movies makes it all the more better, because there's a lot of detail in the book that most of us think shouldn't be left out, and, since it's the final book, i think it's the right time to make it into two movies...
I remember hearing that Goblet of Fire was going to be made into two movies, but they decided against it..

when i saw that they were gonna make the book into 2 movies, i freaked "omg two movies!" but then i cried coz it's so sad that they had to do that and keep people in suspense for the next one after the first one comes out. but then i realized that they were trying to fir the whole book into two movies. and then i thought "okay two movies, not so clean break from Harry Potter world" great article

I saw it an hour ago on TV and screamed like the fan girl I am. (Ahem. Silent, inner screams, mind you.) Less than a week. Oh man. I don't want it to end. I already read the books. :) A million-fold, actually. XD Can't get enough I guess.

Lovely article.
Well written and well stated. =]
I think we'll all be sad when it ends, but it'd be worse (in theory) if it continued forever.

Great article. =]

I loved this article :) I really am going to cry at the end of the second movie... I've practically grown up with the series. I think a lot of my generation has. It's going to be hard letting this go.
