Danger Days is such a meaningful album; one of my favorite things is in the sing video when it says, ''Would you destroy something perfect in order to make it beautiful?'', it gets you thinking. Things like that hold something true, perfect does not mean that something is beautiful, and something beautiful does not make it perfect.

This was an amazing way of explaining the album. I was trying to explain the concept to a friend, but she didn't get the way I was explaining it so I just showed her your article and she got it! Beautiful job.

This was one of the greatest articles I've read. More or less I was nodding my head in agreement, well made valid points.

It's a difficult thing to write about and for it to actually make sense. It's difficult to explain and you did a wonderful job at explaining it. I understand the album but I couldn't explain it to everyone.

as much as Gerard and the rest of the band try to say there is no storyline. in a way there is. its the way they work. as an artist they see things in a sequence. therefore a type of story within itself mayboe not as a whole

This is a great article! Danger Days can be confusing, but it's a great CD! Just like Bullets, Revenge, and Black Parade, They all have different meanings and that's why I love their music... It's great and has great meanings. :)

You know, in an interview, Gerard made a valid point. He called the Killjoys survivalists and said that he thinks that BLI isn't necessarily evil, and the Killjoys aren't necessarily good. I think it just depends on where you stand. And in a strange way, our world now parallels Danger Days, if you really think about it...

Another conundrum I've noticed is the contradicting elements of the album and videos. The album is about light and color and happiness, but in the Na Na Na video the Killjoys wind up beaten out on the desert with the young girl kidnapped and obviously terrified. In the SING video, one of the most uplifting songs on the album about taking a stand for what you believe in, we watch our favorite band die.
Thank you for the confusion, My Chemical Romance. XD

This was such an incredible piece of writing, honestly, I loved reading this.
The universe the boys have created in creating Danger Days is such a wonderful playground of creativity. I think it's the contrast between every element of the world that is so appealing.

And the music is so undeniably good. (Well, not quite undeniably, but undeniably, imo). :D

Now, I most listen to the album with my new perception of it :D

That should be an essay! It was amazing. I've been listening to Danger Days: True lives of the fabulous killjoys for months! And only ever been able to work out Sing and Na Na Na. This review has really helped me understand the album so much more! Thank you!
