The graphics are terrible, but the show makes me giggle. xD I'm no Whovian, but I'll watch it when I'm bored enough. I like the 9th & 10th doctors the most.
I love this article! Doctor Who is practically my main obsession along with my friends. I remember seeing Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire and screaming "THE DOCTOR!" when I saw David in it and my family going "What the fuck?" I've also just converted all my cell's contact information to Doctor Who characters. My friend sent me a picture of a sonic screwdriver replica (that was named something else) and we basically screamed we needed it. Lol, thanks for writing this <3
I love Doctor Who! And unfortunately loving the series has burnt a hole in my pocket. I had to get a sonic screwdriver! And a couple other things. Not to mention the life size cardboard David Tennant as the Doctor standing watch in my living room. :D
Naturally, being a baby in the grand scheme of things, I'm a NuWhovian - it was my dad who watched the older serials.
The Doctor is the kind of character that can be loved irevocably, but can also be strongly disliked at times. He has his faults but fans accept that he's only Time Lord; he's picked up these human qualities along the way, and for that we admire him.
This is a very good article, and you managed to cram a lot of information into the wordcount. Granted, some of the sentences could have been combined so they read better, but I'm being a pedant. I thoroughly enjoyed this article and think you got everything in - what a nice way of commemorating the golden anniversary one of the greatest shows on TV today!
I agree with River Song!!! Doctor Who changed my life completely and makes you think about everything. It especially makes you think about what is out there and what is to come of Earth. It's really great.
Not to sound too incredibly mushy, but this show has basically changed my life. Although it's fictional, (and I've finally come to terms with that) it's really given me an outlook on how small we really are compared to everything in the universe.
That and I really just love looking at David Tennant.
