I've been looking for a good article on this disorder for a very long time. The novel I'm writing has a main character with this disorder and I was wondering if people with BPD can sometimes lash ouot EXTREMELY violently, as in felony offenses, or if that's more Schizophrenia.

Where do you go to to confirm if you have BPD?

BPD is a frightening mental disorder, for serious.

One of my good friends has a very severe case. He's so flighty one moment and yet he'd snap you in half if given the chance the next. He's a classic example of what happens when one has Electro-shock therapy and then stops taking his prescribed medication.

My ex boyfriend had severe BPD as well as diabetes. BPD is not only extremely difficult for those suffering, but their loved ones. Not a day went by where I wasn't constantly worrying about him, fighting with him, or trying to get him to calm down. Thankyou for shedding some light on this.

I go to therapy and I realize that I have a lot of these symptoms
    and even with medication,
    it doesn't stop.

    Thank you for writing this.

Thanks for writing this article. It's a great insight into a lesser-known mental illness.
