There needs more info on EDNOS [eating disorder otherwise not specified]. I find it the most difficult as that is my field of disorder. It can be all over the place. Stages of binging, stages of fasting, and of purging.

just as I said to myself '*sigh* another eating disorder article?'
I noticed that yours was different and didn't automatically jump to blame the media like the others. You made some valid points.
    Good work!

Personally I dont belive in the fact that Anorexia and Bulimia are totally different. As a recovering Anorexic I feel as though the line is very blur. Many of my "ana buddies" as well as myself used laxatives and diruetics even though these actions are seen as Bulimic tenedences.A lot of people fit into EDNOS (Eating Disorders Not Otherwise Specified.) I really love that you put this article up, because I feel like people are catching on too late, and by the time I got help it was too late. This is the first step to preventing Eating Disorders and all the damage they cause in not only the present but the future:)

Actually, both Anorexia Nervosa and Bulimia Nervosa can involve a binge and purge cycle. The main difference is weight. Anorexia Nervosa causes emaciation and upsets in the menstrual cycle, whereas Bulimia Nervosa doesn't.
