I had trouble understanding what the syndrome actually is.
But that's my fault; nothing to do with the article. =]
Now I'm curious how many people actually have this. :S
But good job sparking my interest. =]
Very well written, but too short (in my opinion). =]

There was a woman who was in the UK and she put eighteen table spoons of salt into her son's hospital dripper. She eventually accidently killed her. That was back in 2001. In 2005 she was eventually charged with manslaughter.

I found out about this a couple years ago when I saw "The Sixth Sense," I thought it was so interesting (though obviously pretty messed up) that I gave it to one of my characters (her brother was a herione addict and she kept him addicted so that he'd need her).

I think your article was too short though! If I were you I would have gone into much more detail and described the book more since you used it as your picture.

I have heard cases of parents/guardians doing things like this, but I didn't know it was a syndrome. That's just horrible. I can't imagine what goes through the adult's mind when doing this. It's very sad.

You cited Wikipedia as a source? Really? That killed your credibility.

I know it's real, I know it's there, I know what it is-but finding sources that are more credible than Wikipedia is a good idea.

The article itself was pretty good, but some more detail would have been nice.

Good lord. I've heard of this, and it's disgusting. I'm going to have to read this book...
