    my BFF's and ex-BFF's mom's both got cancer. BFF--bone marrow. exBFF--breast.

    They both took chemo.

    After some months, both are now in remission. Chemo really does work.

    I don't know if they had extra surgery or not, but the chemo worked tho.

    A cure for all cancers would definatley be nice. Chemo and radiation work for some (like the cancer my boyfriend survived; Hodgkin's Lymphoma), but it didn't work for my dad's brain cancer, my step-grandma's lung cancer, my friend's mom's lung cancer, my sister's 10 year old friend's bone cancer, etc. My step dad also lost his leg to cancer... Yeah, a cure about 30 years ago would have really changed up the outcome of many lives.

    My mom is on chemo now.I'm not sure if it's working or not.
    But after chemo she is doing radiation.
    I hope to god they find a cure.

    Chemo isn't a cure, it's a procrastinator. There is no cure, but hey, science is working as fast as it can to find one, right? Well actually, it's not right , scientists are just trying to collect as much money as possible. But what I don't get about all of this is how we know what cancer is, and how it forms; yet we can't come up with a cure.

    Does anyone have an answer to that?

    Interesting article, but i don't think it was clear enough...
    as to the first comment, on natural cures for cancer;
    The truth is there isn't, because if there was then the cure would be all over the internet, and besides that the very nature of cancer means that naturally occuring chemicals have no effect on it.
    Chemotherapy relies on the fact that the chemicals poison the cancer slightly more than they poison you

    my mom stopped chemo because it wasn't helping her. it makes you slow and its very painful. so she looked for alternate medications and found that acai berries have helped her blood cell count. she's doing a lot better now. but still has cancer.

    You know that there is a natural way to cure almost all cancers? They just keep it under wraps because people could do it on their own and big companies can't get their money.
