i hate it when teachers/parents/older people
hold a a record or a record player and ask:
"do you know what this is?"

    haha.

My parents own a record player and i've always loved it, playing their old records from abnds no one has heard of in 20 years. Recently they got the hint and bought me one, i think it's awesome, the way you can actually see it working. It's cooler than the CD player, not only DJs recognise it's style many people still own record players.

I love my record player. Even since I got one from my own, I rarely listen to music on my computer because it just sounds like shit compared to the music that comes out of a record player. I used to use my parents their record player but they bought a new one so I got theirs.
    + Good article ;)

I love my turntable and record collection
I hate mp3 files because when sound files are condensed to mp3, they are reduced to a simpler structure which makes a cold and harsh sound...but with vinyl, it produces such a warm and fuzzy sound...I guess I'm just picky but I prefer vinyl over cds and mp3.
I also have 3 cheers for sweet revenge on vinyl and i have to admit it sounds ten times better.

I'm actually planning on getting a record player for my mom's birthday next week, so she can play all those records she tells me she owns.
And it was an excellent article, too.

I love my (mom's) record player! I know they're out-dated, but there's just something...really cool about putting some vinyl on, and then being able to hear MSI coming from it. It's a weird cross of eras, and it's just ace.
