NOOOO! That's just saddening that the Tomcat is being replaced! My dad was a Navy guy who worked on launching and recovering planes and he always said that the Tomcat was his favorite. This is just sad

Are you serious? Aw, that sucks! My dad's a huge ariplane nerd, and F-14's were the first ariplanes I really learned about, and the few that I can identify from the ground. That's actually pretty sad.
I liked your article, it was well written and full of important facts. Good job on it!
