Seriously. Child's Play and Chucky were not based off Robert The Doll. Don who originally wrote the script was basing it off the craze of the Cabbage Patch Kids, and others like that. The original title was called Blood Buddy, where the whole "Frankenstein moment" where Chucky comes to life is when Andy cut his thumb and the doll's thumb shared the blood. Chucky then became Andy's ID, where the doll would kill people that were mean to Andy, without Andy realizing that was so. The story was slightly changed later because some of the pieces didn't fit with making a movie. Nothing about Robert the Doll.
Supposedly there is a note from President George Bush, apologizing to Robert. Where did you hear about Robert the Doll?? I heard of him from listening to this late night radio show called Coast to Coast.
Okay, I really try not to believe in ghosts and stuff like this unless there is total fact behind it. Considering there are facts behind this, I am now really creeped out...and slightly afraid of dolls...But the article was really good.
Wow, a real life chucky doll? Oh my god, that's funny, and scary. Also wierd, too. I used to have wierd dreams about the chucky movies when i was little but now, Robert? I wanna go see him and find out if he does move. Hm... Thanks for the eere but fun read. I loved it! :D
I. Hate. Dolls. Chucky gave me the creeps, now Robert? Why did I click on this article?? Robert scares the friggin sh*t outta me. This is just friggin creepy..
I've never read an article quite like this on Mibba, and I must say, it's well-written and quite enjoyable to read. I'm already terrified of dolls, but this just backs up that fear. Although Chucky never scared me. Try to figure that one out. Great job on the article. :)
I haven't read about Robert in a while but every time I do he scares the utter shit out of me. Being a Chucky fan who has never been scared of him, this doll scares me. Add that to my strong belief in curses and you have one less person that is going to take a picture of Robert and/or stay in his room. I would, however, live in the Amittyville Horror house. Go figure. But overall your article-as other people have said-is one of the greater articles on Mibba.
