The History of Mibba - Comments

I wish this site was the way it used to be. As active as it used to be.

This is very late reply, but I thought I would put it my two cents. I joined back in 2009, a few months after discovering Quizilla. In October of 2009, I met the wonderful man I am now engaged to when I tried to find someone to write a story with and now I have someone I am starting my life with! (:

I came from INO&GSB back in 2006, I remember clicking on the links and getting redirected to Mibba. I was 13 then :P I lost all my account details a few years ago and made this account. Mibba has always been a big part of my life, and Dujo is God! <3

I joined in 2008 decided to get rid of it a few years ago. I regret only one thing about that. I didn't get to keep my crappy stories I used to write so I can see what I used to write about and how I've changed.

I moved from Quizilla to Mibba in 2009, though created my account in 2008 to read a story that was also moved here. I didn't know about the other sites! (Though I'm not really into bandfics.) I have convinced several of my friends to join and post their stories and poems here, and they really love this site. As long as Mibba isn't bought out by some dumb corporation that bans practically everything from being written, I'm staying.

I was originally on GeekStinkBreath.net but when I saw that the fics where being moved over to Mibba, I decided to sign up. That was early 2007 and I've been here ever since. Met a couple of my best friends on this site too :D

I came on here about 2009...
It was suggested by a friend who knew I loved to read and write.
Now I come on here everyday...
Been faithful by coming on everyday, sick or down.

I joined mibba on 2007. I wanted to start writing fanfics and at that time users could no longer post fanfics on INO and I learned about mibba and so I moved here. I'm so glad that I did because this place had helped to shape me into a better writer. I remember freaking out when mibba crashed and got so grateful when it came back up. ^_^ Mibba is in no way the most perfect website but I think it's has a great community and everyone is awesome!

I found this by accident. A girl in my 8th grade class was on it so I typed it in. I had no idea what it was and was really happy to see it was a site for young writers. Mibba has changed my life. I don't know where I'd be without it. I joined in 2007 and it has changed. It's been hard to see a lot of the newer changes and get used to them when I was so used to old mibba. Many of my friends that I had then don't even go on mibba anymore. It's taken some getting used to recently but I'm learning to accept the changes. I love mibba <3

I joined when quizilla got really stupid, An author of a story I was reading, moved everything to Mibba.
I decided to check it out, and fell in love with the website! lol
So, I guess you could say, I was part of the quizilla migration.
I miss how Mibba used to look though, I'm not a fan of the new layout at all.
Should have kept the old layout, just added the features it has now to it.
Really loving the advanced search though, and how you can save your searches!! =]
Mibba is great with all the stories to read, I'm a reader not a writer.

I think I joined Mibba somewhere in late 2009-early 2010, and I must say it has changed a lot even since I've been here. It's nice to see all of the new members and be a part of a community that is still tightly knit as Mibba.

This was a great article! I found this out on my own, just stumbling across it on a Google escapade. I have to say, one of my best internet finds so far:D It has provided so many wonderful things for me, including people to talk to and feedback on some of my work. Thank you for posting this!

I joined Mibba around 2009 or 2010, if I am correct I came over from Quizilla because a good friend of mine from there was IM'ing me one day and told me about Mibba, and how she was done with Quizilla. I wanted to be able to still talk with her and exchange writing, so I followed her over here. Glad I came, I really am :D I love Mibba. <3

I've lurked here since February 2007 and joined officially in 2008, I think. If I recall correctly, the books and characters pages are actually fairly new. I was surprised to see those are considered old functions because I was on here for years before they appeared.

I originally came from INO. I wasn't on there long, though. INO was just a temporary stop between a long-lasting love of Neopets and the newfound land of Mibba. Ahh, middle school. Good times.

Am I the only one that came here from fanfiction?

Anyways, great article! I've been here for nearly 5 years and I just learned some new stuff about Mibba. =)
