Many women enjoy man on man for the same reason men enjoy lesbians; in their mind they have no competition. When there is another woman who you think is better or prettier than you involved with the man, then you feel intimidated and can't enjoy it as much. With two men you don't have to feel threatened or intimidated in your own fantasies.
