    Wow, poor George. :/ I've never even heard of that species before, pretty interesting, even though it is sad they are gone.

    So that species is for the moment (cause after the come back of the ivory billed Wood pecker) extinct.

    I've never seen those species of tortoise before, and now in my lifetime. I can say with a heavy heart, I will never get that chance.

    man I love Turtles/Tortoises and when I read your article.. I kinda died a little >_<
    Well anyway, thanks for the good article, I heard about the little guy before but I never followed him too much.. Now he's dead..
    I always donate to programs that to help animals (Especially turtles and elephants) but I'll be putting a few more extra dollars next time
