Good article. I did not know that this was happening. Partly because I only write and I don't read. But that's not very kind for people to be so biased.

    Nice artilce.

    I agree with this article.
I mean, I'm a writer, and I write (and read) both het and slash.
People do post hateful comments, on both, but if the comment isn't that bad then I usually ignore it.
I don't see the problem with either.
If someone doesn't like a type of story, they should just deal with it, instead of insulting the story, because when they do that, they insult the writer too.

    Awesome article.

I like both het and slash.
    and I read both.
I only write het because I write mostly about myself and the character.
I think people saying it's disgusting are being silly.
You read/write what you like other people are just doing the same.
    Nice article.

    Love it.

If "homophobic" is a word, so should "heterophobic". Both concepts exist, so why not the word?

And as for the people thinking female characters are annoying... well, that just means the author made them that way, either on purpose or from lack of skill to make them more "realistic".
I don't like it when people generalize and say this statement.

    Very true.
I think it's kinda odd that in R-L people usually say the exact opposite of "Straight People Make Me Sick". The power of the internet!

I think you've got a solid and valid article here. I personally like both, but i've seen others get flamed because of writing het.

It's all a matter of opinion at the end of the day :]
